La Posada De Los Tumpis — Hotel in District of Zorritos

This hotel is a real treasure! I loved every minute I spent there! ||Sandra and Pablo are fantastic hosts and their team is super sweet and helpful and they all make sure you have a wonderful time. ||I spend 4 days/3 nights here with the intention just to relax and enjoy. Which was also part of the reason why I did not left the place (and because it is just so beautiful 🤗). There is anyway not much close around but you are able to do trips and tours to cities and attractions around and they are super happy to help you arranging it.||However, I just loved the peaceful and lovely paradise they build and remain there. I stunned every day as I got to know another lovely and thoughtful detail which I haven‘t seen before. || It is a small hotel with only about 6 Bungalows - mine was really spacious, with the a great shower (well pressure, amount of water and hot water 😍) and your own terrace with chairs and a hammock, 2 pools with many chairs so you always find free ones if you are anyway not the only one at the pool, covered chairs at the beach, a restaurant area, you can do massages on the beach or they have also laundry service.||I absolutely loved the food! This was the best food I came across in all Peru! Pablo and his team are magicians! ✨ There is no menu card or something, they just come up go you and let you know what the daily offers are; based on what they got/have on that day. We intended to come for one week on March 10, like previous years but on March 15 the country was on a complete lockdown. We stayed till June 1 and via special transport we returned to Lima and on June 16 we took a repatriation flight with KLM to Amsterdam.During this period we really could enjoy the hotel owners Sandra and Pablo. A fantastic couple for whom nothing was impossible in spite of the Corona crises. All guests cancelled their stay, so a disaster for the hotel. We admired Sandra and Pablo for being positive, improvise and make our stay to a fantastic experience. The room was luxery with all facilities of which the internet and WIFI was a lifeline for us to the outside world. We will never forget the sound of braking waves on the beach in our room and in the hotel premises.The food was excellent as allways, every day lunch and dinner was delicious, like a 3 star Michelin restaurant. The facilities with swimming pool and the beach was like heaven on earth. The daily beautiful sunset was an extra bonus. With 2 more stranded guests we had a special connection. Rest that feels like home, very comfortable, but with great service and delicious food prepared at your request all the time.|Starting with the location right at the beach and buildings made with local materials and very comfortable, made it a very pleasant stay for us and the kids.|If you are lucky to have the owners hosting during your stay, you should not miss their stories including how they built such a beautiful place.|As per food, we enjoyed delicious breakfasts every day made all from scratch with local ingredients.|Lunch and supper were both delicious and with fresh ingredients too. At lunch we felt as eating in a great seafood restaurant and at supper our minds traveled to an italian restaurant while tasting delicious pastas.|Also, should not miss the pisco sours or chilcanos.|Lastly, I recommend flying to Tumbes as it is closest airport.
