Olas de Serenidad — Hotel in District of Zorritos

We spend 6 Nights at Olas de Serenidad and had a great time! Bill and Lyann really are the kindest people. From the moment we arrived, till the day we had to leave, we were astonished by the kindest of the two! Everything seems so in harmony with both Bill and Lyann, the entire BnB and obviously the guests. You can definitely see that they live here themselves and thus care for it. Every little corner, from the rooms to the beautiful outside area, provided with a pool, bar, and plenty of places to sit or lay down, seems to be thought about.

The service provided, by Bill and Lyann, was something we didn't even think about when we booked this place. So we were positively surprised every time we had a question on our minds or asked for a favor!

Each morning we got served a different breakfast along with a variety of different Tea, and fresh juice from serval different fruits. Alongside their delicious self made bread, each morning we got an detailed explanation what breakfast we got served and which fruits were contained in our juice.

Besides their excellent service and overall kindness, the rooms were great! The place is really quiet and clean. Not something we could take for granted, with our previous experience on our Peru trip. Next to the bedroom is the bathroom with plenty of space where again, you can really tell they put some thought into every little corner. WiFi works great which again, is not something we took for granted.

I could probably go into far more details, how great the beach is and how beautiful the pool/yard is. Overall Olas de Serenidad is a truly hidden gem! We stumbled across this place by scrolling through maps on the north coast of peru. We can and will definitely recommend this place!

Bill and Lyanne were wonderful hosts. Olas de Serenidad is a perfect place to relax and enjoy beach life in Zorritos. The house is located a 5 minute moto taxi ride (about a 20 minute walk down the beach) from several great restaurants and the main beaches in Zorritos. However, the beach just outside the door is perfect, peaceful and usually devoid of tourists. You'll have the whole beach to yourself! They provide hammocks and lounge chairs perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sounds of the ocean. The property has a small pool which is great for relaxing in if the ocean is a little rough. Ask about visiting the thermal mudbaths nearby (they can set you up with transportation to and from them) and don't miss a trip to the lighthouse to see a beautiful panoramic view of the town. As far as food is concerned I recommend Eduardo El Brujo or Tia Gladis for lunch and Sazón y Sabor or El Brujo (different from Eduardo El Brujo) for Dinner. The included breakfast is delicious and includes homemade bread (always a bonus), fresh fruit and fruit juice, hot tea, and one of a selection of 'main dishes' (oatmeal, scrambled eggs, avocado and tomato salad with peruvian pink salt). If that's not enough they have several ala carte items you can add on for a reasonable price. I found the included breakfasts to be more than sufficient. I am so glad I found their home when looking for a place to stay in Zorritos, it was a great choice. I will definitely be back in the future. Zorritos is a hidden treasure of beautiful beaches and incredible seafood, and Olas de Serenidad is a great location to fully enjoy all Zorritos...
