Qali Samanawasi — Hotel in Huaro

My husband and i are cycling self supported in Peru and cycled from Pisa to Urcos. We hadn't made a reservation anywhere since we weren't sure how far we would go. In Urcos we decided to not continue further and found this property on Booking.com. We just went to the property to check in. We had to wait a little because the owner wasn't there. The wait was pleasant as the property has a beautiful garden with 2 very friendly dogs. Once the lady owner arrived, it was a bit difficult to communicate, because our spanish is very basic and her english is non existent but we understood, we needed to wait a little. Turns to she needed to change the sheets on the beds, as the room hadn't been made. It does state on the booking.cm the need to advise of our arrival time, which we hadn't done. So, we finally check in, after I helped her changing the sheets. I eagerly stepped into the shower, but no hot water....so I got dressed again and inquired?? She didn't know what the problem was, so she let us use another bathroom in the main house. Thad hot water thankfully, but would need a very good cleaning. We took a shared cab to Urcos for dinner and happened upon a procession of kids all dressed up for Halloween . Breakfast was very basic. It is a nice property, it needs a little more...

😊: Big room, comfortable beds, hot shower.. 😢: a) To park your car on the property, you need to navigate very narrow roads with the gutter in the center. This makes a second person as a spotter mandatory. b) When checking out in the morning, our status in the Booking-App said that we didn't arrive / no-show. At the same time the host insisted on cash payment and refused to write a receipt. This can lead to a double payment as the booking is guaranteed by my...

😢: Така и не успяхме да спим там, платихме си цялата нощувка, но отидохме да спим на друго място. До хотела се стига по улица, в средата на която минава изключително дълбок канал, ако сте с лек автомобил ще имате проблеми, освен това всяка отсечка докато стигнете до хотела, е запушена от паркирали други коли, вие ще започнете да обикаляте за да минете по съседните улички, но и те ще бъдат запушени ..... ! Хотела е ограден с 3 метрови високи стени, вътре обикаля глутница кучета и определено има защо! Посреща ви САМА възрастна жена, чийто и Испански и Английски са почти изцяло неразбираеми, но проблема е че ако знаете и 2-та езика ще разберете нещо, но след 5 мин тя ще говори точно обратното .... Ако нямате храна, ще я окъсате здраво, помолихме жената да ни даде нещо малко - само за децата, казахме че сме готови да си платим, но тя каза че няма никаква храна, така и не разбрах с какво щеше да ни храни на закуска ... . Каза ни да отидем до магазина да си купим храна, НО обезателно единия да остане в колата докато...
