I participated in the Sacred Ayahuasca Plant Retreat at Apu Healing Center from June 30 to July 7th 2025. The entire week was absolutely amazing, magical, and transformative. 🤯

Prior to joining the retreat at Apu Healing Center, I had been hearing the call from Ayahuasca for about 2 years. I had been searching for potentially compatible centers and waiting for the right time. In April 2025, when I saw the video “a life-changing week sitting with Ayahuasca in Peru” posted by Hitomi Mochizuki (Youtuber/Influencer), I was immediately attracted by the retreat space she went to - Apu Healing Center. I felt that this would be a place that is worthy of my time, money, and energy. And after having my own experience, I can now truly say that Apu Healing Center has far exceeded my expectations.

Location and Venue: It is located in the beautiful Sacred Valley and surrounded by breathtaking mountains ⛰️ . I felt hugged and protected by the mountains every day during my stay. Retreat participants were assigned to spacious and clean guest rooms (private or shared) with full bathrooms and hot water available. The large windows in the guest rooms allowed us to admire the majestic mountains during daylight and the entire sky of spectacular stars during the night. There were also plenty of rooms as common area for hanging out, including a large field of grass where we all enjoyed journaling, doing movements/yoga, and taking naps under the warming sun ☀️.

Ceremonies: The 7-nights-8-days retreat was carefully designed with 1 Coca ceremony at the beginning, followed by 2 Ayahuasca ceremonies, 1 Wachuma (San Pedro) ceremony, and 1 Cacao ceremony at the end. Mapacho and Rapeh (tobacco) were also served accordingly (for purging or grounding purposes) throughout the retreat. This might sound less than some of the offerings by other centers. However, to me this was a perfect balance between ceremony time and rest/integration time. The most intense ceremonies were the Ayahuasca ceremonies. We were given a full day of rest day after each Ayahuasca ceremony to process and integrate the intense experience and profound lessons. After the Wachuma ceremony, we were also given a full day of hiking and picnic (at Chupani Ruins) in order to ground ourselves and return to our bodies. All the ceremonies were surrounded by beautifully curated and performed live music 🎶 .

Food & Services: All the meals were inclusive in the retreat package. Each meal was prepared with so much love and care ❤️ using local, fresh, and nutritious vegan ingredients. And the tastes of the food were just mind-blowing. I felt deeply nourished by the diet during the stay. My connection and communication with food were also delightfully reformed. Besides amazing food, all the rooms were also sufficiently cleaned and maintained throughout the retreat. On-site massage and laundry services were also available.

Team & Support: Founder/leader Rossanita and her team truly create magic at the Center. 🪄 Pati, Tiago, Amtua, and Gonzalo not only contributed seamless and impactful support in ceremonial operation and logistics, but also added meaningful depth and context during preparation and integration activities. Rosemary and her loving family not only prepared delicious and healthy meals for each of us, but also shared warmth, love, hugs, smiles, chatters, jokes, tips, and prayers. Rossanita not only provided essential leadership and inspirations to the space, but also provided intimate prayers and personal guidance for each one of us.

By the end of the week, everyone in the retreat became part of the one big family. The love we share is beyond words. Words cannot do it justice. You have to experience it yourself. Your inner child has been waiting for you...

Here, each individual, with Rossanita at the helm, works solely from love, in the highest frequency intensity, and everything unfolds in alignment with the divine laws of the universe.
