The place really gives you a welcoming and homely feeling and the food in the restaurant was honestly some of the best we had in Peru! The staff is extremely kind, professional and attentive. Special greetings to Hugo. You can really sense in every detail that the owners have fulfilled their dream here. Our room was spacious, well-equipped, and honestly spotless. All organized trips and transfers fully met our expectations. They've also prepared a nice snack-box for our trip to Machu Picchu. Don’t miss the evenings by the campfire with the owner – he shares valuable insider tips and interesting tales & stories about the region. We truly fell in love with this place (and the alpacas!) and will be happy to return on our next trip to Peru. We wish the hosts Louis and Silvia all the best for the future. If something should not fully meet expectations, I’m sure the owners and the staff will do everything they can to make it right.

Absolutely Amazing Stay! From the moment we arrived at Sierra Sacred Valley, we felt completely at home. The hospitality of the staff was beyond warm and welcoming — it genuinely made us want to extend our stay. One of the highlights was spending time with the adorable rescued alpacas, which added such a unique and heartwarming touch to our visit. I was lucky enough to get a room with an incredible mountain view — waking up to that scenery was unforgettable. In the evening, the super friendly owner went out of his way to set up a bonfire, where he shared fascinating insights and stories about his trek to Choquequirao. It was such a personal and memorable experience. If I ever return to Cusco for trekking, I would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Sierra Sacred Valley is a diamond! Bruno, Luis, Silvia, and everyone else will treat you like family and are attentive to your needs. The location within the Sacred Valley is ideal for touring the famous spots. The quality of the food is outstanding. Spending time by the camp fire at night and listening to Luis tell his adventure stories is better than watching a documentary on television. There are also alpacas on the property that are friendly and curious. The massage services are also spot on. If you are planning on visiting the Sacred Valley you have found the perfect spot.

DONT BE OUT OFF BY THE SMALL NUMBER OF REVIEWS. THE PROPERTY ONLY RECENTLY OPENED. IT’S TERRIFIC, IF BEING OUT IN THE COUNTRYSIDE, WITH ALL THE MODERN CONVENIENCES IS WHAT YOU ENJOY.

It is only several months old, beautifully designed and spotlessly clean. Being modern has all the convenience you would need such as convenient, electrical outlets, good plumbing, etc.

The best part was the setting. It’s not right in the town, in fact, it’s a little bit difficult to get to, but it’s very tranquil, located in a quiet rural setting. In fact, the owners have a small farm adjacent to the hotel property, and several alpaca that roam the property, one of which is like a friendly dog that loves to approach and nuzzle humans.

The owners are on site; a lovely couple, and they treat you like a member of the family. The other staff is also extremely helpful, respectful and friendly.

We only took breakfast at the hotel, that food was terrific. They do serve other meals, and judging from the look of the dining area and the dining area, I’d expect the catering to be excellent.

The nearest large town is Urubamba, but the hotel is not in the built up part of that town. I think it was about a 20 minute taxi ride on a dark rainy night, to get to the place.

The nearest small (very small) town is Huayllabamba. This is about a 15 minute walk away. We really enjoyed going there and seeing how the people live. I doubt that they get many tourists. There was no sign of tourism infrastructure.

We just went there out of curiosity, but found we could take a local shuttle van to Urubamba for S/ 1.5 (around USD 0.40 as I write this), and the trip took 20-30 minutes. It was super fun riding with and talking to the local people. Everyone we have met is super friendly. In the small town, few spoke English, but everyone is quick to converse using google translate.

All in all, we are very glad that we chose to stay here, and...

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Sierra Sacred Valley. The property is beautifully designed and spotlessly clean, offering a secluded and tranquil escape in a quiet rural setting. One of the highlights was the alpacas that roam freely on the property—a truly unique and delightful experience. The owners are incredibly hospitable, kind, and helpful. Luis, one of the owners, even guided us on a breathtaking hike up a nearby mountain. Once we reached the top, we were rewarded with the most stunning, panoramic views imaginable. It was an unforgettable experience. The food here is delicious, and the staff go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. This is the perfect place to unwind and relax while still being close enough to explore incredible nearby sites like the Pisac ruins, Moray ruins, Maras Salt Mines, and Museo Inkariy. If you're looking for peace, natural beauty, and warm hospitality, Sierra Sacred Valley is the perfect destination. We can't...
