Hospedaje Eco — Hotel in Lagunas

Huayruro Tours uses this place for their guests visiting Pacaya-Samiria. After we returned from a 12 day jungle excursion, we stayed for two additional nights. We then asked if it's OK to check out late on the last day, to which they agree. However, when we left they demanded the full daily rate of 50 soles. They have reviews of others who didn't even book a room there, and they allowed them to wait for the boat and to shower for no additional charge, so I don't know what the discrepancy is here, but if you need to wait here a few extra hours for the boat make sure you clarify whether you will be charged or not. We stayed the nights before and after our Pacaya Samiria Adventure. It was super clean and comfortable. There were cold beers and we really enjoyed sitting with Emmerson in the courtyard learning english/spanish together. Emmerson stored our extra luggage we didn't need in the selva, he gave us great restaurant suggestions and helped us to make travel arrangements. We really enjoyed our time here. The bed is clean and the owner is enthusiastic. However, the tourist service recommended by the owner may be price deceptive and may be twice as high as the local market price. If you go to the reserve, it is recommended to rent a three-wheeled motorcycle by yourself instead of accepting the owner's recommendation.
