We originally booked his hotel for a quick overnight prior to an early airport departure. We were so happy with how friendly the check in process was, how nice the airport transfer was, and how clean the room was. That, in and of itself, would have been worthy of a 5 star review. However, we ended up having a medical emergency in the middle of the night. The hosts were beyond kind and caring, got us safely to a quality clinic, and even stayed with us for hours to translate. Ils offrent le transport de l'aéroport jusqu'à l'hôtel pour 15$ (possibilité d'avoir un peu moins cher avec un taxi officiel mais c'est moins compliqué et plus rassurant pour les non-initiés). J'avais demandé le transport lors de réservation sur booking. Com mais n'avais pas reçu de réponse. Ceci étant dit, un chauffeur était quand même au rendez-vous à l'aéroport avec nos noms sur une pancarte ( parle espagnol seulement). Il nous a amené à bon port en nous décrivant ce qu'il avait à voir dans le coin. De plus, il nous a proposé de nous prendre à 4h30 du matin pour nous mener à la gare d'autobus Cruz Del Sur pour 25$-environ 65 soles) pour un trajet de 50 minutes (c'est le prix si vous prenez un taxi privé, les taxis à partager sont moins dispendieux, environ 7 soles par personne). Croyez-moi, il était là à l'heure. On a même eu un cd de musique péruvienne en cadeau! Pour ce qui est de l'hôtel, nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement par la famille de proprios. La plupart parlaient anglais et espagnol. Les chambres sont simples mais on s'y sent bien. Douche avec eau chaude et petit déjeuner péruvien avec entre autres au menu des tamales... Hummm. Malgré l'heure hâtive, la table était servie dans la salle à manger et le café a fait du bien....
