Rosa Toro Hotel — Hotel in Lima Metropolitan Area

Me and my wife stood here for 3 days in April 2013. Service was ok, but WiFi is very bad. we Changed our room twice to get a good signal and we never got it. If you got lucky there was hot water. I believe what helped me was that I speak spanish fluently. But from what I saw, the staff does not speak English. However our stay was ok, but not the best. There was a great spanish restaurant right across the street from there that made up for everything. True Peruvian food, (Ceviche). Very low prices. If I had to stay at Rosa Toro again, I wouldn't, but...

Fui por trabajo 4 días a Lima, esta ubicado en una zona que no es muy linda, pero tampoco fea. Hay varios lugares para comer, o tienen el Shopping Jockey a 5 minutos en taxi.||La cama es comoda, el hotel esta limpio, la tv es chica. Y se escucha todo el tiempo el transito de la calle.||No tiene aire acondicionado , ni estufa. Y las ventanas son incomodas, y no cierran del todo, no por malas, sino por el modelo de ventana.||El desayuno es impresentable, pedí el primer día, y no me lo prepararon. Al segundo día me lo prepararon, me dieron agua caliente, café dolca en polvo, para que me haga el café, le pedi leche y me dijo que no tenían (me dijo ahora me venís a pedir, pedirlo un día antes, impresentable) y dos tostadas con mermelada.||El taxi del aeropuerto esta 45 soles.||El hotel es bastante nuevo, solo sirve para dormir y nada más. Para 2 o 3 días esta bien.||Y la relación precio calidad esta bien.||Cama comoda.||Tiene wi fi , y se colgaba de vez en cuando, pero llamaba a recepción, la reseteaban y...

Reminds me of my days living in Bogota. No restaurant. On a busy street with lots of horns. I found the services I needed but I speak Spanish and can manage. Not a spot for tourists I would not think. Room was passable. Earplugs essential. Came here because it was closest to my client's offices. Next time I will try...
