Royal Sweet Dreams Airport B&B — Hotel in Lima Metropolitan Area

We have stayed at Martin's b+b twice now, and we have another two stays booked.||The first time we stayed on the second floor where we effectively had an entire apartment to ourselves, minus a kitchen.||The second time, we had a bedroom on the first floor with an en-suite bathroom.||Both times everything has been spotlessly clean and comfortable. The WiFi signal is as strong as any that we have found so far in South America.||Every morning, a breakfast cooked to your liking is delivered upstairs to your dining table, at the time that you ordered. Sometimes, Martin pops up with other surprise treats as well.||Martin is incredibly helpful, both before your arrival and during your stay. He can organise airport transfers at a discount to the standard cost and he will even take you to the bus stop and put you on board if you are heading into town etc.||The area is very convenient for the park, lots of low cost eating establishments and a cheap laundry. There are at least five ATMs within a five minute walk, and the BCP ATM adds no charges.||I would recommend Martin and his b+b to anybody and we are looking forward to...

This isn’t a hotel, it’s the second floor of an incomplete house. You don’t get your own keys to your apartment, the owner has to let you in and out... so expect to feel like an inconvenience the entire time if you decide to go out and explore the city or leave for any reason at all. The owner walked in unannounced to our apartment twice, so there was no privacy. Upon booking, I paid ahead... upon check-out, the owner said we had to pay in person and that he only ever accepts cash. Even though we told him we paid online, he said this was impossible because he only accepts cash, so I basically got charged twice. He forced us to go to an ATM to take out more cash to pay him. Additionally, we coordinated to get picked up and taken to the airport at 8. For whatever reason, he had the taxi driver come to pick us up a half hour early, and the owner stayed in our apartment until we were done packing and ready to go... so we were basically being supervised while we showered and packed, and we were rushed.
