Hospedaje Plaza Inn — Hotel in Nauta

Plaza Inn was the best accommodation we could find in Nauta. It is quiet, safe and colourful. The wifi here is very good here too. We (a homosexual couple) wanted a matrimonial bed for only one night (it was cheaper than a double bed room) and the staff was not polite when we wanted to get a matrimonial room and just did not get why we wanted such a room and they were a bit rude. The bathroom of the room we had does not even have a door which was a bit embarrasing if you know what I mean...||When they mentioned we need to pay on the day, the woman in the front desk rudely refused to take our 100 soles just because they did not have any change and told us to get change outside the guesthouse, which accommodation does that!! Luckly when we (unsuccesfully) did not manage to get change in a restaurant, there was another women in the front desk who was ok to take our 100 soles and give us change.|| We never had that issue of paying with a 100 soles note and get change back in other guesthouses in Peru, we were not impressed of this place because of the staff. If another guesthouse appears in Nauta that is as nice as looking as Plaza Inn or better, we would go there and never return...

My partner and I stayed here for only one night since we were getting on a boat the next day. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. ||Sadly although there is a small kitchette, there are no plates/cutlery or stove... So cooking for yourself is not very easy unless like us you go with the instant noodle vibe from the kettle.||I really appreciated the beauty of the garden area and the fun colourful decorations.||Overall a really lovely place to spend a short...

If you need a place to stay in the town of Nauta, before or after a trip up or down the river or if you're in Nauta on business. this is a good option. Clean facilities, friendly and helpful staff. Security seems to be good. Right on the plaza, an easy (two-block) walk from the port, a few doors up from an Internet place, if you need one, and a half a block from a little shop that sells soft ice cream cones, which are perfect company for an evening stroll...
