Pacucha glamping is by far the best place I've stayed in Peru. The host Eleane is welcoming, very good at communication, endlessly patient to listen to me speak in English and translating with an App so that both of us could understand each other. She is always happy to see us and feed us great meals. Her sweet children have open hearts and pleasantly help Eleane, when needed. The view from Pacucha Glamping is phenomenal. We're quite high up from the lake and seeing the mountains wrap around the lake and the clouds dance around the mountains, there's so much to take in. The Dome is very clean and I really enjoyed the concrete floor as soon as I got in and the way the bedroom and bathroom/utility room are laid out. The separation of these spaces keeps the bedroom looking organized and free of clutter. The bed was so comfortable and firm, we had enough blankets to make ourselves warm at night, the bathroom is equipped with modern fixtures, the light fixtures are simply beautiful. The naturally dried tea leaves were a nice touch. Me and my husband wish to stay longer, if we could. We feel so lucky this place was available for us and Eleane and her kids, Rafael (the sweetest gardener) are the best people...
Read moreExcellent location, polite hosts, warm rooms with a modern interior. Sunset and starry sky, peace and tranquility, good breakfast are the advantages of the hotel. Bonus - there is a small private farm downstairs with cute animals.
Important to note: the hotel does not have parking and Wi-Fi. But that's the concept. But we had a car and it was safely left downstairs, and the mobile Internet was enough for us.
The only question is the lack of description of how to get there - there are no signs on the road and there is no detailed description on the website yet. I'm sure the owner will fix this over time. I think this is because we were the first visitors...
Read moreAn amazing view of the Laguna de Pacucha! Very peaceful stay. If you go, is best to make transportation arrangements with the Glamping, we took a ramdom taxi and he didn't know the exact location. This is a place to disconnect, relax and enjoy the view of the lake and the mountains around. After you could visit the town and enjoy a ride in the lake or do some others activities like kayak or paddleboard. The hostes, Eleana was very nice and made sure we were confortable thru our stay. Had dinner in the patio and to keep us warm, a fire pit was going along with a...
