I stayed at this hotel from 29th Jan 2013, for 8 days. The hotel is very basic with basic amenities. However, it is clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. My first room had an aircon problem and so I was shifted to another room. The second room also had a prob in the bathroom, so I was promptly shifted to a bigger nicer room.||The breakfast is complimentary, though it is quite basic. There is wifi available in the lobby & restaurant and also in rooms (if you are near the lobby area).||The location of the hotel is quite nice. It is in a quiet & peaceful location and yet is not too far away from the main shopping area. ||There are a few restaurants near the hotel (between 10 - 15 mins walk away).||Over all, it was a lovely experience. Just remember, this is a basic hotel, but clean with nice friendly & helpful staff. The hotel is good for a business trip (if you are not looking for luxury) or for an inexpensive,...

I booked it for March 2015, but after taking a look at the room and the somewhat run-down aspect of it, decided it would be too depressing to stay there, and returned to Piura with my chauffeur to stay at Los Portales. If you have to do business in Talara, this would be your choice. But Talara is so changed from times past, and the hotel...
