Hostal Campestre Casa Blanca — Hotel in Puno

This is a great place to stay only 10/15 minutes out of the town of Puno. Quiet, clean, with modern touches, and great amenities, like hot water, comfy bed, heater, free coffee and breakfast. The collective taxi runs right out on the front street so it’s possible to get around for very cheap. Also, the host is kind of enough to arrange transportation and arrange visits to the small local towns, nature walks around the beautiful mountains, and sacred temple sites. I found it quite nice to stay just out of town, lake views, no noise and close enough to the smaller quaint and quite town of Chicuito On the outskirts of Puno. I was super pleased with my stay, it was the perfect reboot after visiting the lake. Not to mention the countryside and rock formations surrounding the hotel are gorgeous.

Hermoso lugar, limpio, seguro, y muy cómodo. Muy buena hospitalidad, nos dieron cafecito y un desayuno muy rico. El cuarto era muy cómodo con una buena cama y agua caliente. También el dueño es muy buena persona y nos ayudó con transporte a un sitio sagrado y a el pueblito de chicuito que está muy cerca, a dos minutos en colectivo. El sitio está a 10 minutos fuera de Puno. Muy cerca y económico por la tranquilidad y las vistas del lago y montañas. Estoy muy feliz por descansar en el Hostel...

We enjoyed our experience with Casa Blanca. It's located near main road, but not along it, so place is peaceful. Rooms are big, clean, with a lot of light, freshly renovated. There is hot water available 24 h (they have solar panels for heating water). |Winter nights was cold in this high region, but they have good blankets. |There are enough place for park your car, big yard, sunny terrace, comfortable lobby and kitchen area. |Owner is super friendly. He knows about herbs, for example, one, which he showed for us, was very helpful against altitude sickness. He could make interesting excursions in surrounding beautiful area. It was the most impressive view, which we saw in Peru (Lake Titikaka from the rock formations). |Absolutely...

My friend and I stayed in Casa Blanca for 4 days and we truly enjoyed our time there. The hotel is located on the outskirts of Puno. It very clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed staying outside of the city, the scenery there is beautiful and it's very peaceful and quiet. Rebelhino (the owner) is extremely kind and he offers amazing excursions around the area to places only the locals know. We did a 3hr bike tour to a temple and the view from the top of the mountain was breathtaking! Great place to take pictures of lake Titicaca.
