Río Grande Lodge — Hotel in San Ramón

The perfect place to stay in San Ramon. Big green areas with lots of trees of all kinds of fruits, lemons, mangoes, almonds and more. There’s a pretty big pool which is clearly well maintained, I didn’t get the chance to try out the jacuzzi but it looked great there are places for relaxation and entertainment and they excel at what they’re purposed to do. There is an included breakfast. There’s a wide variety of things to do in the hotel, you can relax by the hammocks next to the river, or observe the wonderful view in front of the pool or cook a delicious BBQ in the yard, play with the kids in the playground or just relax in your lodge. Río Grande Lodge is the place you’re looking for if you’re traveling with family or friends, the service is excellent, the lodges, spacious and cozy, bathroom clean and with hot water. The only thing I regret about my stay is not finding the pool table and table soccer sooner! I found it on the last day it was a lovely surprise. If you’re planning on staying, check it out, it’s on the last floor of the building left to the main entrance. era nuestra primera vez visitando la Merced y decidimos hospedarnos en San Ramon, lejos de la urbe, optamos por Hotel Rio Grande Lodge debido a los buenos comentarios en redes.||||Llegamos a las 6:45 am al Hotel, a pesar de saber que el Check in era a partir de las 12 pm, nos atendió amablemente un joven venezolano y nos brindó la sala de estar y las instalaciones comunes del hotel hasta que esté la habitación habilitada (habíamos reservado una matrimonial). Con el pasar de las horas y con el clima sin sol, quisimos pedir un cafe, el cual nos lo trajeron sin reparo.||||Pudimos observar que el hotel era más pequeño que en las fotos y que si bien está bien conservado, no hay salida al río, solo una hermosa vista desde su mirador.||||Las horas pasaban y se reflejaba en nuestro cuerpo el cansancio del viaje, al fin la administradora nos comenta que aun no estaba lista nuestra habitación, sin embargo hay una habitación libre con vista al jardin y valle pero con un poco más cara. Lo pensamos y el cansancio era tanto , ajustamos nuestro presupuesto y tras negociar con ella, aceptamos la habitación por dos noches.||||La habitación era hermosa, todo madera, muy iluminada, con ventilador y una bancón para admirar el paisaje y ver el río. perfect, sin embargo, al probar la TV, nos dimos con la sorpresa que no prendía, notificamos a la administración, revisaron la tv y no nos daban solución, nosotros salimos a conocer la merced y al volver nos dijeron que ya estaba todo arreglado. Intentamos encender la TV y el problema seguía, es ahi donde vino el personal de servicio del hotel para solucionar el tema en compañía de la administradora. y lo pudieron arreglar después de todo.||||El primer día no llegamos a alcanzar el agua caliente, ya que el agua se calienta por paneles solares, pequeño detalle que no nos habían comentado. Felizmente el segundo día si alcanzamos.||||EL hotel debido a los inconvenientes generados nos hizo llegar dos mojitos de cortesía, bonito gesto.||||No se olviden si desean disfrutar del campo, hagan parrilla cerca al río, este hotel, te la parrilla, platos, cuchillo sal, aceite y carbón, TODO UN EXITO!!!!!!, yo hice una parrilla la última noche en San Ramon, hay una pista de baile a la orilla del río y si quieres puedes activar las luces y con tu cel pones la musica que quieres a todo volumen, ya que la musica no llega a las habitaciones, fue GENIAL!!!!!||||A pesar de todo , la pasé muy bien en RIO GRANDE ,...

Stayed here while doing some business in the area. We had to leave early for work every day, and needed early breakfast. Every single time they promised to make an early breakfast, and every time they did not make it. Saying yes, doing nothing. ||Also we had to change our rooms to some uncomfortable rooms at the gate.
