HOSTAL LOS CEDROS — Hotel in Tambopata

I had a trip from Cusco to Pt.Maldonado. Before leaving Cusco i booked a room in that hostel with booking.com which had been confirmed by system.||While beeing in the road i tried to call them to inform that i'm coming late, cos its common for hostels to have nobody inside if they do not expekt guests. Th phone provided in the profile didnt work, i tried to call them few times. When i arrived to Pt.Maldonado i found the hostel but was unable to get in, nobody opened the door though i used a doorbell.||I found another phone number of that place in google maps where they have profile too. After they got my call they opened the door and i was able to come upstairs. The reception guy asked my name and checked it towards some list of names on his paper and told me i'm not in the list. I showed him my phone screen with booking.com app where was my reservation number and pin code, it looked like he didnt know what is that at all. He made a call to somebody, the manager probably, and after short conversation he told me that he is sorry but there is no confirmation for me and they have no free rooms as well.||Coz i dont speak spanish well i didnt argue long, the situation was quite clear for me. It was late night and i was tired after 10 hours of road so i took my stuff and found another hostel to stay overnight.||I wrote to booking.com that i never stayed in that place, described the situation and tell them not to charge me for that night (the place has no-return policy for reservations, lol). Neither booking administration neither hostel management never contacted me for bringing any apoligises. ||This is total irresponsibility, when they offer their services on booking.com platform, u make a reservation for exact date, provide all ur personal data and credit card number and when u arrive at late evening they tell u that they sold all suites and there is no place for u to stay.||I wish u never face such...
