I´ve been to Mitu Wasi for four days, during the third week of October. ||||A positive aspect of the season is that if you are not so into hot weather, it is between 28 to 32° C., in summer it´s almost 40°. As Tarapoto is a city, mainly to go and visit the different sites and attractions, you won´t spend much time at the accommodation. Considering all this, you need a room which does not get to be extremely hot as the "casitas" are because of their design and production materials. Also, I don´t consider a swimming pool or a spa as a must, as you´ll find natural sites with these kinds of choices.||||When visiting, if you are looking for fair fares and exact and best advise about where to go and grab something to eat or how to travel or tour arrangements, Ana and Roberto, the owners, will lead you to the best options for sure. You just need to ask them or get informed and decide where you want to go and they will help you in the best possible way. Breakfast and "pollo al cilindro" are definitely delicious, you can´t miss them.||||The place is in the outskirts of the city -which is not big, at all- but it just takes you "dos soles" (two soles, about $0.75 during the day) to be there and get close to banks, restaurants and more. Mitu Wasi is ideal to rest after the different visits and re-gain energy so you go for something to eat (that was what we did). Tarapoto´s people are really nice and there is not much crime at all, it´s absolutely enjoyable and peaceful for some, like me, that come from Lima and who have to be alert 1000%/ a minute.||||I´ll definitely be back to know more about the place. I loved the hotel and its extremely helpful and dedicated owners, the sites, the delicious food -remarkable very good prices- and the weather. You must go to Ahuashiyaco, Huacamayllo, Blue Lagoon and the village of Lamas. You will have a great time.||||Almost forgot, hotel´s fares are one of the best you will find, and if they plan your tours, they will be good value...

Their daughter also played with our Daughter, both of them so happy to play around the garden inside the hospedaje. In the morning of our 3rd day staying there, we asked if Ana can cook for us Inchicapi soup, so delicious Inchicapi and boiled Banana on the side with Grapes juice for our Lunch that day.||Breakfast served outdoor, in garden in front ot our room, local breakfast food, juice and delicious cafe. For our 3 nights stayed in Tarapoto, Mituwasi really exceed our expectation. Thank you Ana...
