We were booked this hotel as part of our tour in Sacred Valley. It is quite remote and 1.5hr drive from the Cusco airport. If you wanted to explore Sacred Valley, it would be hard by foot, you would need to go with a tour so they can drive you down to the town to explore. But the hotel was lovely, it looks like a villa. Lush grass, flowers, trees, they have 3 alpacas there. It is low season, we were the only ones there with another group that is part of our tour. Once they left, we were the only two left. We did not know there was a daily scheduled power outage, so in the morning when we got up there were no electricity. But it was sunny enough that there was natural sunlight. And we accidentally missed the breakfast buffet, but they still brought out breakfast for us a la carte. After, the one staff walked us over to the Alpacas to take photos. It was a neat experience. The rooms are spacious but older, many things were very worn down but...
Read moreWe stayed 6 days at the Inti Punku. The setting is gorgeous. The room was large and very confortable for the 3 of us. The hotel is quiet (sometimes a bit much). The location was great in the center of the Valley. It allowed us to spend some quality time in each part of the valley. But more importantly the staff was wonderful. We had dinner several times at the hotel and it was always delicious. We watched some Copa America games with the staff in the lobby. It was so nice to share their excitement (Peru lost unfortunately) . The hotel is bit isolated so we needed some help to get around. They arranged Donato who has been our driver for most or our stay. He was wonderful. We have great memories of our stay. Take the time to enjoy the sacred valley. I was afraid 6 days would be too long. It...

It was hard to communicate because we only spoke English but for the most part they were very accommodating My major complaint was the lack of black out shades in the room and unfortunately the first night there was a glitch in the light out front which was flashing on and off into our room making it impossible to sleep This was corrected at 3 AM. We are breakfast and dinner at the hotel and the good ( including the bag lunch for Machu Pichu) was...
