Kehalani Beach Resort — Hotel in Alabat Island

Beach front has a lot of potential for snorkeling and freediving activities if they can clean up the coconut debris and grow corals or sea grass. Water is calm most of the day in a sunny weather.

Pool and garden are well maintained and topnotch.

Rooms are okay, we checked-in an aircon room, sadly there is no hotshower. It has, but not working.

Wifi is unstable alongside the cellular data. Wifi is not free BTW, you need to have a lot of P5 and P10 coins. If you need to work you have to be near the router or choose a room near it.

There are no food options when we came as restaurant is still closed except for breakfast. There are some nearby. You can also choose/request for custom cooked meals. Hopefully they can work/improve on this in the future.

Staff are all helpful, hospitable and nice. They can/have the potential to do better though. They can improve more if they can undergo more hospitality industry training.

Would we come back again? Yes and maybe but definitely not a no. There is a lot of room to grow.

P.S. They probably need to orient guests regarding the RORO advance booking option and cutoff. Better if they have the option...

What a lovely stay! Zero complaints. Staff, views, decor, food, and the whole property were are all amazing!| We were picked up at the port by the Kehalani Jeepney. Greeted at the Kehalani entrance by the lovely staff with refreshments and a leis for my partner & I. There’s two large modern kubos that could fit 4-6, as well as 8 smaller modern kubos with an ocean view. Beach vibes and amazing attention to detail with the decor. There’s a well designed pool, with a separated waiting pool, and jacuzzi. The pool is partially covered under a large rock structure with a bar and a TV. Karaoke anytime! There’s color changing lights, water fountains, & a waterfall coming from the rock wall. |This resort is so beautiful with numerous lounging areas.
