A Gem in Alaminos with Truly Wonderful Staff!
This hotel really grew on me during my stay, and what truly sets it apart is the wonderful staff. They were incredibly friendly, and we often found ourselves chatting with them in the lobby. After a few days, they felt more like friends than just hotel employees! I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to the area.
The hotel itself is impressively large and maintains a peaceful atmosphere. The main lobby is beautiful, and it's worth asking the staff about its interesting history. The two pools are a fantastic feature – one is perfect for families with kids, while the other offers a more tranquil space for relaxation.
A quick tip for future guests: I'd recommend asking the staff to turn on the air conditioning in your room before you arrive. The rooms can get quite warm, and it takes a little while to cool down, but once it does, it stays comfortably cool.
While the hotel is generally clean, it's not spotless, and the bathrooms could benefit from a remodel. It's important to remember that this is Alaminos, and this isn't a five-star luxury resort. However, it offers a very quiet and restful environment, and you're just a quick and convenient tricycle ride away from the main town.
The rooms, though on the smaller side, are thoughtfully laid out, making it easy to unpack and settle in comfortably. My room also featured a balcony, which provided a lovely view.
Overall, this hotel offers a great experience, largely thanks to its exceptional staff and pleasant amenities. It's a solid 4-star choice for a comfortable and friendly stay...

Read moreI have visited several hotels in Mabini and Alaminos, and this place was terrible and significantly more expensive. They were asking 5k peso a night. The AC was so old that you couldn't even feel it, the TV wasn't working, the mini-fridge wasn't plugged in, there was no toilet seat cover, the shower was spitting water everywhere when turned on, and the toilet bidet in the toilet kept dripping. The place was gross and outdated, I recommend going to Alaminos, like Asia Novo Hotel, which offers better quality at just 1/5th of the price. With a working hotel and better...
