Blue Star Dive Resort — Hotel in Anda

The Blue Star Dive Resort in Bohol, Philippines, was a fantastic hotel overall. The food was both affordable and delicious, and the massages were reasonably priced. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to meet guests' needs. The bungalow was comfortable, and the air conditioning worked exceptionally well. Guests can confidently approach the staff for any request.

The on-site dive center was excellent, and the guides and dive center staff were very helpful and friendly. As a diver, there's no need to lift a finger; the dive center handles everything, making the diving experience truly enjoyable. I would have given both the dive center and the hotel a five-star rating; however, the dive center misplaced an expensive lamp of mine and neither replaced it nor compensated me for the loss. As a result, we didn't leave a tip for the dive center. I would advise against leaving valuable items in or around your jacket or at the dive center after your last dive.

Aside from this issue, everyone was genuinely kind and helpful. I highly recommend this resort. The majority of the dive sites were well-preserved after the typhoon, with only 1-2 of the 10 sites we visited showing damage. We were able to see many beautiful underwater creatures and corals at...

Blue Star is second to none when it comes to Location!!! They are absolutely on the BEST spot for diving, snorkleing and Freedive in the Philippines! Located on the perfect corner with currents and wildlife so abundant that you never have a bad dive!! The food is done well and very tasty! some rooms are great with unreal views and some rooms and very basic with a view pf the parking lot... the Dive center is great as well with compressor on site and divers ready to go!! The pool gets pretty hot in the dry season with no clouds but its still a great Place to be! I would not rec this place for small babies or infants as it has some heavy duty stairs and cliffs and areas to climb in and out of the water... Still. I love Blue star and I always go there with freinds when they visit me...

We had an amazing day diving with Blue Star. We didn't stay at the resort(unfortunately) but just came to dive. The diving itself was absolutely stunning and very relaxing. But also the service from the entire crew was excellent. Everything was taken care of. And next to the brand new equipment, little details as drinks and watermelon in the boat were very much appreciated. Mick, who took us diving that day had a lot of knowledge and shared many tips, tricks and stories. He also made sure everyone would have enough time under water.
