Our stay with Hive Manila Guesthouses and Apartment is one of a kind! Found his listing through Airbnb and I should say this is one of the best ones. I’ll tell you why.
Interior and exterior we really loved the accent wall and curtains. With all our stays so far, the accent wall is chef’s kiss. Very on point with the black out curtains especially for people that wants to sleep during the day. Toilet and bath has the right space. Bed was comfy as clouds and the night lamps? I want to have them so bad that I’m looking them up right now. They have full kitchen inside and everything was working properly. TV is Netflix ready! The place is located in peaceful area. Did not hear any noise throughout the stay which made me sleep like a baby. The road leading to the stay is not sketchy and the road is wide if you have a car with you. They have their designated parking space and is gated so yourself and your ride is safe 100%.
Communication with Sir Arnold is easy. The caretakers are so polite and sweet. They will help you with everything. Grocery store is near so you won’t have to worry about food.
Overall stay is 15/10. If you are looking for a peaceful place to relax, unwind or even work, this is a perfect place for you. This place is more than what you paid for. Thank you so much and we will see...
Read moreThe room is okay. The staff sucks, she's nowhere to find, take hours for her to reply. I asked if I could wash clothes, no reply. Anything you need you can't rely on her. Also who knocks on doors at 9 45am to ask if we wanna extend our stay? What time is your check out time, 10am? One in a hundred places where check out time is 10am. Location doesn't show exactly on maps. It's quiet, you have to walk further to get to grocery stores and trike fares costs more than taxis. The toilet doesn't have enough space for bigger or taller people. Small ref and the pan sucks so be careful not to burn anything you cook from it. Also they only have two electrical outlets , harder to charge your phones and computers and it's not beside the bed, they have an extension cord you can use when you're cooking and...
Read moreIt's located deep into a barangay so good luck getting any taxi or trike. You are dead in the water unless you have grab app on your phone. The fare to the airport is between 500 and about 700 pesos. There are no restaurants nearby and you have to walk about 10 min to the nearest minimarket. No laundry nearby as well. Absolutely not a convenient location unless you have your own transportation or you have some business nearby. The room is OKish. Anyone taller than 180cm and over 90 kg will not be able to use the wc. There is not enough room between your knees and the wall. Would probably need to buy a hammer first. I had to check out at 2.30 am but the property manager was impossible to find. It's not a hotel so there is no 24 hours reception. Except all these everything...
