Short: This place has the potential to be a 5 star hotel but policy and action bring them to a 2-3 star at best. Included breakfast was excellent. Staff was nice. Room was not clean when we arrived. They tried to demand more money. No ability to pay be credit card for international travellers.
Long: - Rooms are very nice BUT our room was mot cleaned properly as we found lots of hair on the pillows and bed sheets when we arrived and no hygiene kits (towels, shampoo, soap etc). Either staff was lazy or hotel was understaffed if you were up early in the morning, there was hot water for shower. But if you are a late riser (after 7:30am), it seems the hot water was finished Our suite was nice, potentially, it had a nice design but water was either coming out of the pipe somewhere or it was spilling out of the shower even though we were careful with the curtains, flooding the bathroom floor. We never could figure out where the water was coming from No ability to process credit cards for international travellers. Only GCash, cash or bank to bank transfer. We only had ā of the money owing (Final bill was around P33K) because it was my first experience with a hotel this nice that doesn't accept credit cards. I've stayed at hundreds and hundreds of hotels. Even the Carag-Carag hotels take credit cards. ATMs were all empty on Sunday, after leaving some of our party for 3 hours at hotel while we went from ATM to ATM, we finally managed to use a relative's account to bank transfer to CDO bank this hotel uses. we clearly booked 2 rooms, 4 adults and an 8 year old. Our booking from Agoda clearly shows everyone is included and eats for free. On the second day of our 3 night stay, they told us we have to pay for the child. Breakfast & coffee (when they have it, they ran out on Day 2) was really good. Bacon was impressive as I...

Taxis are a little harder to come by chance, so I suggest either getting a taxi driver contact, or use GrabTaxi for transportation.||What made the place so charming was not how their rooms looked or the amenities, but something about the place just reminds me of home. ||The rooms are OK, supplied with a bare minimum, but it feels like having a sleepover at a friend's house. You can clearly see the years on some stuff (particularly the bathroom), but that makes the place more relaxing for me.||The garden was our FAVORITE spot. We stayed there longer than we stayed inside the rooms. This is where my friend and I have had conversations for hours and hours. We barely left the place, actually; we only got out for the usual pasalubong and visit some places, but we both yearned to be back in High Point's garden because there's basically no other place in Baguio that was quiet and relaxing enough. Their price on unlimited coffee was SO PERFECT for these long sessions!||They also have a decent offering on the menu. I'm pretty particular with food, and theirs did not disappoint. Their soups are simple but amazing; it reminds me so much of home cooking.||I am MOST DEFINITELY coming back here. I think I found my home...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBy far, the best budget inn we've stayed in Baguio. I was going to give it a 3-rating because there was no warm water in the shower. But on our 2nd day, I figured out that most people take baths early, and use up all the hot water. I found out water's warmer around noontime. So after that, a 5! Why?|1. Really great price-considering it's peak season. For a twin room, with 2 double beds, we just added P700 for our 2 kids, so all 4 of us stayed in a room.|2. Room size was ok. With aircon, free water bottles, free slippers. Clean bed & towels. Cable.|3. Came with breakfast, too! Everyday, you can choose from a good variety. My daughter was so happy with her blueberry pancakes!|4. There was enough parking space.|Since it's along Kennon Road, it's easy to find. |5. It's not in the vicinity of SM, so it's quiet and not crowded. |6. Food in their resto are also reasonable and tasty enough that you can just eat in if there's too much traffic. P100-P180. Tea is P40, P50 for a pot.|7. There are small grill bars near like Bruno's. A souvenir market 2 minutes along the way. |8. Staff were friendly.|Only downside:|1. Bathrooms are a bit shabby.|2. Warm water on & off.|3. Only 1 wifi user per room.|Have a...
