Our deep condolences to the family of the host. Ms.Emilyn, the registered host of this amazing place, was caught into a car accident just mid-November which took her life. You might wonder why nobody is responding to the queries for now because they are still trying to sort things out. The host was very much complimented for her fast responses but I didn't get to experience that anymore. The cellphone of the host was severely damaged due to the accident. However, ms.emilyn's husband was very accommodating during our whole stay. He reassured that any bookings made through the booking websites will have no problems. ||||This place is overly underrated. The location itself is superb with all the sound of the crashing waves and wind from the sea. The view is spectacular. The house is very simple and modest which is very much reasonable to what they are charging you for. There are not much amenities to offer, aside from the 4feet backyard swimming pool. All four rooms of the house are set up with 3 double beds (2 double beds and a double pullout bed) which I can say are comfortable enough. Every room has its own tiny bathroom, just a toilet and shower area. No sink) They have small analog TVs equipped with cignal cable. The ACs are the 0.75HP-type so it doesn't get that cold (plus the wind from the ocean is too strong that it goes through the cracks of the doors and windows). The best thing we enjoyed was the free wifi, you just gotta turn it on. The house has a dirty kitchen facing the beach and I must say that they have all the kitchen utensils you will ever need. From cooler to refrigerator and cups to pans. On the other side of the house is where the two long wooden tables are placed (right next to the kid's pool). This is practically the coziest common area where we stayed the most especially if you are staying here with a big group. There are just too many dogs around waiting for leftover food so be careful not to leave any of your packed groceries outside the room since these dogs are ready to ransack them when everyone's asleep.||||There is a sari-sari store nearby that sells beer and other stuff. Although, if you opt for buying some meat and vegetables, the only market is actually near sabang area which is 15-20 minutes away. Overall, this place is one great cozy place to stay to unwind and enjoy...
Read moreWe are 3 girls and would like to stay in a remote area, in front of the beach, and our wanted destination is Discasalarin Cove, so we chose the Dela Torre Beach house since the destination is about 7km from the hotel. |The view is so gorgeous, where you can lie down on the beach and enjoy the sunrise in the early morning, or climb up on the mountains to see the beautiful sunset. We have the chance to meet and being friend with Alexander (Care), he is the adorable son of one of the staffs at the hotel, he is a surfing trainer and also our tour guide during our stay at the hotel. He knows very well the province. He toured us by tricycle around the Baler province: the Mother Falls, Millenium Tree (Balete tree), Aurora Beach, Ermita Hill, the Old Lighthouse at the Diguisit Beach, and even more than our expectation, we had BBQ on the beach, while Care and his friend, Jack were playing guitar and singing Filippino love songs for us. Sitting on the beach under million stars, enjoying charcoal BBQ while the love song melodies were playing around you, what else do you expect for :) |If you want to escape the city for a few days, bring your group of friends, your family or your love to here, you will never disappoint, and remember to contact Alexander (Care), he will bring you...
Read moreThe place is superb! Though it was raining most of the time, we still enjoyed our 3D2N stay. Ate Lanny and her staff were really accomodating and attended to all of our needs promptly. She was really friendly and easy to deal with. There was an on-going construction on the building but it wasnt really a bother. The room is big enough for 2 adults and 2 kids and can even fit up to 6 coz there were 2 single beds and 1queen bed with pull-out. The beachfront is rocky and it was majestic, not ideal for swimming but you can take a dip during high tide. All in all we enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back. Thanks Dela Torre for our 1st...
