White Sand Beach Resort — Hotel in Bolinao

Let me begin with a few good things about Kubhotel. First it is a true beach front resort unlike other resorts in the area. Also the staff are accommodating. Those are only the 2 good things that I can say about this resort.

As for the things that I didn't really like...

The beach is not good for swimming. During the low tide (and even on high tide) the water if just knee deep. You'd have to walk far towards to sea to be able to swim

Their water is a mix of fresh and saltwater

Their cooking station uses a LPG that's shared by other cooking stations. It's my first time seeing 3 separate stove tops sharing 1 LPG tank.

We stayed during the holy week and sure enough there were a lot of visitors. Location is good but beach front is overrated and not too good when the tide is low. We were able to secure a nice cottage for our group. we booked 2 rooms (15pax AC Room and 2pax AC Kubo). The 2pax AC Kubo was and may be able to to accommodate 2adults plus 2 kids. Toilet is average from our point of view and very little to no water. There was also rotational brownouts during our stay. The public rest rooms are not clean and very little running water. We just tried to make the most out of our stay. If you are on a tight budget for a family outing, this place will do, otherwise, there are better...

We did not enjoy our stay here and left after one night, even though we booked for the whole weekend. Our bathrooms were dirty, the toilets didn‘t flush and barely any showers worked. The pool was also way smaller than expected and it didn’t look clean. Furthermore, we didn‘t have a fridge for our meat. There was only one lady working there who tried to do her best to help us, but for a resort you cannot call this satisfactory. Honestly, the only nice thing I can say about this resort is that it has a nice view of the beach.
