Great little hidden gem, delicious simple fare, wonderful staff who go out of their way to ensure your stay is pleasant. Pools are well maintained, beach is broken coral and Oslob whale shark swimming pickup can be done at the hotel. There is a waterfall visit in the package too. The rooms are bright and clean, exceptional air conditioning, bathrooms boast hot showers with the latest heating systems. The pool is illuminated with hundreds of solar lights making it a beautiful area to lounge on the soft lounge chairs at night. They are covered by a mesh so that you can lay out under the sun. A great addition. The breeze from the see keeps the whole area cool and the waves at night well all day, are so restful. Every room faces the ocean so you really can’t have a poor room! There is even a special bungalow, with an awesome exposure to the ocean, it’s like you are on a ship!!! The bungalow has a spectacular shower and I recommend it…there is only one bungalow though. The best hotel of the island. I was on Palawan and Sebu and visited 5 hotel (3 of them near Oslob) that hotel definitely outstanding. First advantage of this hotel is purity. NO insects at all, smells fresh, room is clean. In other hotel of Oslob nobody didn't hear about cleaning room. Second is location. Near by the whale shark spot if you are lucky you can find them on the private beach. A lot of alive coral reefs near the hotel. So close to the waterfalls and mountains with amazing view. Therd but not last is design. You can walk around for several hours and you can find a lot of interesting details. All furniture is new. The food is perfect for reasonable price. Breakfast is free. The owner intentionally gave us the wrong room. Even though it was clear in our chat conversation, he just played dumb. Worst customer service. The room I booked through Agoda was not the room given to us. The paper I signed when I checked in even had the correct room number but was just poorly erased and replaced with the wrong room #. I took pictures as proof. I just let it go and took the smaller room even though it was not what I paid for. The beach was the worst. I had a couple of conversations with other guests(foreigners) and they too were very upset about their stay. The food tasted like it was cooked in the microwave. The pork belly I ordered for myself was difficult to chew. The pizza was similar to the local cheap pizza(mothers best). The pool was moss green. No need to explain how dirty it was.
