El Pueblo Rhizort — Hotel in Calapan

El Pueblo Rhizort is located at Mahal na Pangalan, Calapan City in Oriental Mindoro. From the city center i.e. J.P. Rizal one to drive about 15 minutes to reach the beach resort. You have to have a keen eyesight since one may miss the sign along the barangay road and one has to turn right in a narrow road alley. The right of way is a mere 3 meters sufficient for one car to go through a road alley of about 8 meters. What a unique name El Pueblo Rhizort. Upon entering the compound though, there is sufficient space for accomodations and the venue proper which is a stand alone one building affair of about 300 square meters, enough to host a 50-pax attendees. The restrooms are located in an outhouse and the cubicles are clean and provided for with tissue, soap and water. The food during the two day seminar were sufficient in terms of quantity but was average in terms of quality. Nonetheless, the resort kept the various attendees in one place since it was far enough from the city and any possible distractions. On the whole, we had a productive workshop and the food service was quite satisfactory including the servers.||The resort had enough facilities, however, and the beach ambiance is there since it overlooks the Calapan Bay giving one a nostalgic feeling of serenity...

Surprisingly pleasant stay. Melvin and joy assisted us with so much hospitality. Ms lizelle is very accomodating and ensures we have a comfortable stay. The water fun activities are nice for family and even for kids. Doing kayak pedal boat and water bike in the afternoon is best. You can go watch sunset while in the sea. All in all. The ambiance and overall feel of this place is very lousy but there are many activities to do. There are also fitness facilties. Rooms are slightly below at par.
