We are a group of 12 who stayed for 4D3N. That's quite a number to manage yet the staff were nothing short of friendly, funny, and accommodating.||||Props to Tita Myrna for taking care of us, ensuring we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Special mention to Ate Anna for attending to our needs. ||||Have to give it to Ate Nena, the best tour guide of Caramoan, for showing us the best of Caramoan has to offer.||||My favourite would easily be the uphill trek to the lighthouse in Guinahonan island just a few walks opposite Cotivas island. This trek isn't something that's offered to many tourist and was told we were the first group from Breeze & Waves to ever be allowed to visit this place. ||||Very much satisfied with the excellent service received. Yes, it's not the most glamorous accommodation but that's already a given for a place in an island that is still currently being developed. Not to mention the rotating power outage which was also a challenge, but never felt it to be a hindrance in enjoying our stay. ||||Highly recommending this accommodation. People are knowledgable of the island, plus, your safety is their utmost priority - they have strict protocols with island hopping and boating. Not to mention, Tita Myrna is also the baranggay captain and there's a police/tourist station right beside the hotel, you can't get any...
Read moreI can't think of a better way to describe my experience, but here it goes. We were put into a room which had the worst airconditioning system among all the rooms they had (we had to go room hopping to where our other friends were staying just to cool off after a long day under the sun). We kept asking for maintenance but no one came. We had to endure a whole night of sweating (5 people in a small cramp room without proper airconditioning, can you imagine). We were told they make people pay 100 pesos for an old towel so we brought our own. Electricity wasnt stable at all, light turning dim every 10 mins (along with A/C) but we understood because we were staying in an underdeveloped island (but our stay couldve been better if we were given a room with a better airconditioning unit to be honest). Food was great though, we were a large group so all our meals were served in buffet style. If you're still hungry they'll give your group all the left over food from the buffet after everyone...
Read moreLast year when I visited Caramoan I looked at the rooms and they had a terrible smell and the staff member was very unfriendly so I stayed a different place. This year on our visit out of courtesy we ask the brgy. Captain if we could fly our drone . Turns out it is the owner of this hotel and when she found out that we booked at a rival hotel she has done everything possible to abuse her position and stop us from using the drone. We even secured a letter from the Mayor who was very gracious and the Chief of police as well. But that wasn't good enough for her as her position has gone to her head. We spoke with another tourist who said she also harassed her as well over something silly. Caramoan is a great place to visit with wonderful people and scenery just...
