Gota Village is nicely set on a bay with its private little beach. Getting there is a bit of a mission but totally worth it. Cabins are basic but nice, WiFi is only available at reception but thatโs actually great for disconnecting.||Besides the nice location and the very good food from the restaurant, staff is very kind and attentive, going above and beyond for you - starting with Joyce, the resort manager, who greeted me personally on check-in and who was always around making sure things worked like clockwork.||I was joined by some friends and we got to enjoy some of the adventure packages they put together - Camsur Adventures - which made for a very enjoyable time! Tux, our guide, was amazing!||The only thing I would say is that the bar could be a bit more lively; itโs not staffed permanently so it looks like a missed opportunity. However, the restaurant staff will quickly come and make sure you get what you want.||I had a great time there and will certainly be back if Iโm ever in the Caramoan again - and what a beautiful...

I mean, we have stayed in some basic or very affordable accomodations and they have tv and comp bottled water, this resort doesnt have. But again, given the location which is very much private, scenic and relaxing, those will not matter anymore. They are offering island hopping and other activities. They have restaurant on site that serves delicious dishes. We personally liked their bihon and their laing, you should try it. There weren't a lot of guests during our stay so ours was really peaceful and relaxing. They accept cc for incidentals but you need to pay cash for the activities. There were Survivor execs scouting the place and according to one of their staffs, which btw all were very friendly, the resort will be closed this March because it will be used as their set again. Given a chance to go back in Caramoan, we will definitely...
ย ย ย Read moreRestaurant was great. Very tasty food, great staff and you can eat by the beach. The room was tiny and if you have to carry a lot of heavy luggage it is extremelly inconvenient. There is some 3g signal in the rooms but the wifi at the front desk is horrible. It could be because some of the front desk staff was watching (streaming?) movies (we saw they were watching, we are unsure of how)... We called in to reserve and said we would arrive late at night. When we arrived at past midnight, no one was aware of our reservation. Its really sad that such a beautiful place is so covered in plastic and trash. I guess that all the time used for watching those movies could be used to clean up the place a little. We were the only ones in the resort and yet we were given a cabin that was far from everything... Except for the restaurant, everything can be...
