We had a relaxing stay here. We stayed here during the weekdays and there are no other guests so we have the place all to our selves. It is a serene place and you can hear the waters from the river beside the resort. We stayed at their river side hut. The hut is big and the bathroom is big too. The hut has 3 floors. One, is where you can dine and hang out. The second and third, where you can sleep. The third one is i think an attic style. We choose to sleep on the 2nd floor because it has bigger space. The bathroom is like an indoor/outdoor style. There is a part of the bathroom that is open but it's not really a concern because it's not reachable by a person. It gets cold at night especially during our stay because it was raining. So I advise you bring something warm to wear at night. There are open spaces in the hut which is covered by nets so the air can pass through. They also have a kitchen where guests can cook but you can also opt to ask them to prepare food for you. I love their veggie salad by the way. You can do bonfire here and melt some marshmallows. Their crew is approachable.
Overall, the place is perfect for retreat or if you want to get away for some peace and quiet time. The only downside for me is the road going there because it's narrow and there are parts that are very bumpy, and the bridge is just literally wide enough for vans to...
Read moreWay back October 2019, we spent our company teambuilding here—more or less a group of 30 people. First things first, what I like about this place is that it has a plenty of houses/rooms for a large group and can be rented exclusively which was just so good for our teambuilding. Secondly, they have a spacious kitchen where you can cook your meals. They do offer meals if you want a hassle-free stay here, but we opted not to avail it so we could minimize our budget and prepare more food on the table. Then they have a camp-fire area, a great pool, and a grassy field where you can run and play. So, to those who wish to spend their teambuilding here, Lava Farm is a great spot for this purpose. This is also a great choice for those who want to breathe some fresh air, to spend their weekends/holidays with peace of mind and inner calm, and etc.
Though going here is a challenge, but it’s a golden pot at the end of the rainbow for sure. Lava Farm is actually one of the places I want to revisit when time permits and when this pandemic comes...
Read moreThis is the 4th (or maybe 5th) time I’ve visited this place.
The service and hospitality is excellent, bar none. They go the extra mile for you, figuratively and literally.
This is an amazing place for a group retreat or even just an overnight escape for the family.
You can go to the river to just walk or take a dip; just be extra careful as they can be slippery, at times.
The infinity pool is nothing super special but stands out in a remote location like this.
Speaking of location, about an hour or so (no traffic) from JY Mall. You might want to rent a jeepney for a round trip (delivery and pickup) as there is no regular public transportation to the place.
With that said, definitely a great escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.
Even for just a day trip, it will be...
