Banaba Tree House — Hotel in Cebu

We had such a great time here on our month-long backpacking trip through the Philippines. This is the perfect place for day trips to the nearby waterfalls.

The hotel grounds are lovely and the pool is great. You can also take a less then 5 minute walk and jump into the nearby sea.

We arrived here by public bus from Moaboal and the bus stopped right in front of the hotel. You can rent a scooter here for 500 pesos a day, which makes it easy to get around.

We always ate at one of the nearby restaurants or got takeaway food to take back to the hotel.

We loved it here. Stayed for a night with 4 others, and we all loved it here. Staff were friendly and accommodating and prepared a grill for us when we asked if we could grill there. There were dogs on the property who were very cute and friendly as well. And banaba is so close to all the waterfalls in samboan that it's a great place to stay if you're looking for somewhere to stay near...

Stayed for 3 nights. Very quiet and peaceful. Staff were great and helpful. Pool is a great addition, recommend spending a day relaxing by it. We asked about food delivery and they made us a delicious meal. Short walk to samboan town, they also have friendly dogs which is always welcome...
