My friends who happened to be my co-workers invited me to join their trek to Osmeña Peak. I agreed to join them since I didn't have any plans for the weekend. They asked me to book the place where to stay overnight since I am an Agoda user. I chose Blue Pot Resort since I've visited some resorts in Dalaguete already and I wanted to see the place by myself since the photos shown were great. Last Saturday, we had a workshop in the afternoon so my friends and I decided to travel at around 6 pm. It was not difficult to find their vicinity because people knew the place. We were amazed when we saw their reception area but the excitement turned into disappointment upon hearing that they were fully booked and they didn't receive the confirmation from Agoda. I really complained not because "Customers are always RIGHT" but because I paid and got the booking/confirmation number. I couldn't control my temper already since I didn't know what to do in the first place, where to stay if they won't really allow us and how would I explain things to my companions. After the intense conversation with the owner they then offered us the room since Ma'am Thelma (owner) felt pity on us if we would leave and it's already late at night. She thought that what if it would happen to her daughter. We were greatly thankful for the kind consideration so they guide us the way to our room. They made sure that we feel comfortable. The place is really wide and the exterior is impressive. We stayed in a conference room which was transformed to a big room so the amenities were not that satisfactory. The room was indeed clean but the bathrooms were too small. I guess the place focuses more on catering various events like seminars, weddings or birthdays. I didn't have the chance to stay in other rooms so my review would just purely describe my stay there. We went swimming at night and the pool's light changed every now and then which makes it more appealing. We had our lunch the next day but they don't provide any menu since they prefer that guests order the dishes ahead of time. The boneless bangus tastes good but the chicken pandan was too salty. I guess this resort has a good potential but of course they should focus more on addressing the guests' concerns and improve the quality of their food...||Once again thank you for the hospitality that you've shown us but I just need to be more objective...
Read moreI suggest that no ond tries to stay or make a reservation here for accomodation. Worst accommodation for my whole stay in cebu. We paid for 8 people (there are only 4 of us who went), and they only provide 2 towels. Each extra towel is php 50..... And the pool also isn't included with the payment, its php 90, I think. Very dissatisfied because this is actually the most expensive one that we paid for, for accommodation. The lady at reception(owner , I think) was very rude as well. We were asking for a few information about transportation and such, she wasn't happy with us asking her a bunch of questions and she answered with a rude tone. Honestly was expecting more than what we experienced,...
Read moreIt was surely the best resort in comparison with other resorts nearby in price and cleanness. The pool was clean and quite big enough to swim. It was cleaner and cheaper in everything. Especially, the owner was so kind and friendly that I felt even sorry for his help and kindness. He tried to call a Tuk-tuk several times for us and helped us negotiate the fee of Tuk-tuk and he even helped us take a bus going toward Cebu airport. That was the best hospitality I experienced...
