Stayed here for 8 nights last october 2016 for the 2nd time whilst having our 3 weeks vacay in Phil with my hubby and 2 kids. I thought we'll come back, had a good deal with their rooms the first time and did actually enjoyed the waterpark but this time I guess this would be our last. Arrived late 10:30 pm from our long trip, so we're pretty buggered. We booked our stay like about three months prior so everything should be ready as what we're expected but very disappointed, aircon wasn't turned on, no towels nor toiletries and guess what we were informed also that we have to pay additional fee for my daughter(4 years old), Like WTH. Room price is Php 1600 but that doesn't include VAT 12 % (Php 1792). Room does have refrigerator but doesn't have kettle which we really needed the most as we have a one year old son who needs his formula and for us to have a cup of coffee and to be able to sterilize his bottles. They do sell hot water in a cup(5 pesos) but that doesn't help a lot. Our room had ants crawling on the wall and aircon was too noisy, Our blanket wasn't actualy a blanket it was just a thin bedsheet and they don't actually have comforter/doona. No housekeeping, we had to clean our room ourselves and basically asked them for a new bedsheets, towels and even broom. For the last two nights we decided to moved to their one special room (3k+) , room where the owner's son stays when he's around. If it wouldn't be with their waterpark and friendly staffs, we won't be staying in this place for long + we were actually stucked anyway as we'd booked my son's first birthday here. Rented their aircon hall(4,800 sound system included) Catering : food was alright, set up was ok, Staffs don't have actual catering uniform(just their polo shirt with intosan logo on it), aircon is totally not good. We were sweating and I actually complained. It felt like the aircon wasn't working- their answer was "due to its age, it is an old one" (Hey! they knew the problem y but they weren't prepared to do an upgrade). Sorry if I am b*tching but the owner needed to consider some improvements. Staffs were nice, they are friendly but they are lacking of knowledge about the industry, they are good on keeping the surroundings clean though- saw them every morning sweeping the paths and watering plants. They got WIFI but only works at the reception area. BUT eventhough we had a bit of dissatisfaction, we still did gave each of them a complimentary chocolates, made them happy. We were there for a while so we got to know them and they got to know us- they were polite and always admired our kids.

Nice, clean water park for smaller children. They loved it because they could jump in to the 'river' and the water was never over their heads. Price about $2.00 x person. There are slides, wandering river, spray fountains, one 5-6 feet deeper pool, screened huts for about $10, one large grill for 3 or 4 cooks, & clean restrooms. Oh, you can bring your own food but no alcoholic beverages. (I think they may sell beer.) The adults & older kids prefer the ocean but for the younger ones and those older ones that cannot swim, it's ideal.

Firstly let me say : I am a canadian married to a filipina. I have travelled extensively but I am not hard to please. I dont expect a lot when I stay at most places. This review is written from a FOREIGNERS POint OF VIEW !||My wife and I thought it would be nice to go to Introsan for a weekend getaway. We had been there once before, for a day, the water was refreshing.. nothing spectacular.||This time we stayed for a weekend.. what a mistake. Most of the staff (not all) were not helpful, or caring and some were down right rude... the reception desk needs a lot of improvement in their people skills.. The wait staff (restraunt and room) is totally non existant. You had to go to front desk to order your meal and to pay for it. Food was mediocre at best and very expensive for what you got. When we first arrived we had a very small cabin near the pool. I have seen better garden shacks. THe a.c. worked but it was less than 6inches from your head when you were sleeping......not good. I would of used the fan but it didnt work. Turned on the 50 year old 12 inch tv and reception was so poor you couldnt see anything. The only table and chair were outside and so dirty that even when we got the staff to clean it they could not remove the dirt. Flies and mosquitos were abundent. The bathroom/shower needed a lot of work and the toilet was the usual "squat until your knees break" type customary in the philippines. On our second day , in the morning, we were informed to stay in our room because a tropical weather disturbance was coming and they wanted to move us to a different room at the hotel proper, for our safety. At this time storm had not come and weather wasnt bad so if we could have used the waterpark facilities at this time.. But , as requested, we waited at our room ALL morning and a good portion of the afternoon until, for the 3rd time I asked about the other room... Oh.. it was ready.. had been for some time but they never told us. So much for enjoying ourselves it was now raining and cold.||With nothing to do we though at least we would watch a little tv.... nope.... the vintage tv's channel selector wouldnt work. We asked for help. They sent some guy who played unsuccessfully with the switch and finally told us he would get a remote controller to turn the channels. After about an hour and no remote I asked the front desk where it was.... she told us they went to buy a battery for it !!!!! Late in the evening my wife had a brainstorm why not use the remote control on my phone !! Wow it worked. Lucky because they NEVER did show up with THEIR remote.I should add that I had to go to the reception area several times (food order, paying for food, questions etc) everytime all she was doing was counting the money. I seemed to me that was the only thing she was interested in. I should add that , although the weather was bad, there were some sparse moments when we could have used the pool.... but everytime we went there it was populated with numerous young individuals , drinking a lot of Tougay Ice and fooling around.... creating an enviroment I knew my wife would not enjoy, or I for that matter.. Ha ha , this was even with big signs all around ..... Swimming facilities for House Guests only and a myriad of signs saying no alcohol. Im not a prude.. I like drinking around the pool ,but not with a bunch of drunk rowdy kids.. and I would certainly not expose my wife to that. All in all it was a terrible experience. I would say the waterpark facilities for the local poplulation was pretty good.... but for overnight stays , expecially for foreigners and couples is truly a negative experience. This place is like a lot of places one can find in ph. It may have been good in its "hay days" (in this case about 20 years ago) but filipinos seem to have a habit of either half completing something or completing but never upgrading, taking care of, or putting out for any preventive or updating maintenance.. Its to bad because Introsan is not unlike a lot of Filipino properties ...... they could be excellent if they provided just a bit of upkeep and repair and taught the management staff how to deal with there customers. I would like to add one other thing .. the general staff were obviously very hard working , kind and nice.... but I bet underpaid for what they did. Even though the general service was bad and I still tried to tip the general staff genourouisly because they deserved it.. Just one comment.. I am at a loss to understand how some people here came up with some of the positive comments they did.... this hotel/reseort cetainly did not deserve...

I never knew this kind of place existed in Cebu, and I am surprised it is located in Danao. It is spacious and well manicured gardens.

It could be at par with the water world in Manila but in a small scale as this isn't located in the center of the main city and the proximity is quite far from the usual crowd.

Nevertheless, it is good as it can get. The pools are not as clean as it should as it is filled with dried up leaves and drowned ants, flies, mosquitoes and other insects. Good thing there's no frogs or snakes in the pool when I get there.

It's a good place for a small get together and reunion. Specially during the off peak season as it feels like you rented the whole place.

One thing that makes me sad is that the place is not gastronomically inviting, but good thing there's a hut called "payag sa taboc"? i forgot the name but their sweetened buko juice is so marvelous and their food is affordable and delicious!

Good place to do videoke too! Intosan should have only 3 stars but because of the nearby food hut, i gave an...
