I give 1 star because I cant give 0. Please see the photos. We arrived to the hotel and were given the key, the booking was for two and it was ready just for one. As we walked in we saw crumbs on one bedside table and hairs on the other. The towels were so old they had holes and were ripping out. The room looked so old and not maintained. They advertised Wifi in all rooms but they only have wifi in the reception and there isnt a lounge where you can sit. We went to reception and asked if they could clean the room again while we were out and after a few minutes of frustrating communication they said ok. We came back at night and they had not cleaned it, our bed was full of ants too so we asked if we could move to another room. They changed us and after 5 min in the room, our roommate came out(please see the huge cuckroach in the photo) they refused to give me a refund and it was already 11pm and tried booking another hotel but they were all full. So at that point we were left with no choice but to stay, they refused to give me a refund which eventually they had to accept and after 2 hours (1am) arguing we had to stay in a third room and leave the morning after(The owner was happy to leave us stranded for the night but he offered us to stay one night for free if we didnt post the picture of the cuckroach). I dont know how Oyo partners with a hotel like this. Please, I know its cheap, but dont waste your money here.

The rooms are fairly clean and have an air conditioner. There were ants, but that seems to be the norm here. We did not see any spiders or cockroaches as other reviews have mentioned. There is no WiFi except in the lobby - very inconvenient. This means no WiFi in your room at all. In addition the bathroom has openings to the outside so you have to keep the bathroom door closed so the AC stays in the bedroom and the bathroom stays hot all by itself. At night you attract bugs from outside through the openings when the bathroom light is on. The bathroom also didn't have a separate shower area so the bathroom floods when you take a shower. Between the openings to the outside in the bathroom and the fact the room door also opens outside you get a ton of street noise. The hotel is conveniently located near everything but it's extremely noisy and nothing to cancel the sound out. If you're not used to loss of noise when you sleep in wouldn't recommend. There was no TV remote and no hot water kettle for coffee/tea.

Had a pleasant 3D2N stay at the inn. Friendly staff and the room was clean and spacious. The location is very close to 7 eleven, bakery and restaurant. Fast WIFI Connection, complimentary coffee, and working smart television. Charging station was also very convenient close to bed. Will definitely book this place again.

This hotel was absolutely disgusting. The first room we checked into had food crumbs all over the table and hairs from previous guests. We asked them to clean again and after much resistance they agreed but when we came back they hadn't cleaned it. There was an army of ants on the wall and in the bed. We can handle ants as we've been travelling months now round east Asia but this was just too much. We asked to move room and they let us, however this room turned out to have a huge cockroach. We took all our bags back out of the room and then proceeded to ask for a refund. It was late and as you can read from my husband's review it took 2 hours of complaining before they agreed. The worst part is the manager said 'if I let you stay tonight in another room, don't post the picture of the cockroach'. We were desperate because it was 1am nearly and we couldn't find anywhere else so we agreed but we have decided to post the pic as other travellers should know! No idea where their score of 8 has come from because all rooms were disgusting. We only have 2 days in moalboal and this has made us start stressed and tired. It's not worth it. The last note - we saw the cleaner the next morning as we were leaving and my husband remarked that she didn't bother cleaning the room yesterday..she actually started smiling and nodding. The whole place lacks any customer service...
