Hidden Valley Wave Pool And Mountain Resort — Hotel in Cebu

Went to this place for the 3rd time last nov. 2016. I didn't expect that it would be our last. Left the place very disappointed and full of regrets. Travelling from Danao to this place is quite far but we can't contain our excitement, I wanna visit it again and show to my kids how beautiful this place is, specially they have got a wavepool now. Pretty sure everyone would definitely enjoy(was thinking out loud-planning to stay 3 nights). The roads on the way is beyond a joke- they are working on it, muddy-bumpy- it was shocking!!!. I nearly changed my mind specially it was already dark. When we finally got there, I felt a bit relieved.I was ready for bed, we were tired but because we didn't booked a room so we needed to inquire first (worst! I don't know why we didn't inquire before going- one mistake) , inquired the rooms we stayed before, bungalow rooms.the lady said they only have available rooms upstairs- right hand side-family rooms(2k) about 100 steps, inquired also about the rooms around the wavepool but it wasn't available as two rooms got ceiling leaks- they are on the process of repairing it. Anyways we ended up getting the family rooms x2 instead of travelling back. Carrying our heavy luggages walking to that 100 steps was the hardest. Got into our room and it was a nightmare, the smell of the room(mouldy) it smells and looks like it hasn't been used for years. You can visibly see that the cabinet had termites before, it was that bad. I did complain and changed a room but the other room isn't better- got no other option it was already late. Smoke detector in the room keeps on beeping - meaning they haven't changed the batteries on it, took it off as it's very nuisance.I felt terribly sorry for my husband and kids. From then we decided we will leave early morning, have a stroll around and that's it. We didn't had a good sleep, woke up very early and was ready to go.The view is beautiful though- one of a kind- the area is very big so plenty to do but phone network coverage would be a struggle- hopefully they would also consider doing some renovations on their rooms as there would be more people visiting and would like to stay longer, same as...

This place is ways too expensive for what you get. Not even worth 1star! The rooms and the service is lousy. Food is below average and for a double room they charge PHP 2500. Imagine, it's as expensive as in Bohol or Boracay, but this a hidden, filthy place in nowhere, with nowhere to go, and nothing to see, there are no supermarkets, no restaurants, nothing is around this place. There is nothing that would even justify a US$10 room rate. And for overnight staying guests, the use of the wave- and infinity pools are even charged separately. There is no WiFi and not even a good telephon connection. Even the booking is somehow hidden from the guests, as you can book only by phone. Meaning that guests have no proof of what they have booked. I am calling this cheating. Additionally they have sometimes groups of peoples who scream into those Karaoke microphones and the volumes of these Loudspeakers are turned up to an incredible, crazy noise level until midnight. But that's not all! No, this crazy Karaoke starts, or actually continues again at early 7am in the morning. Never in my life I have experienced something like this. The management, Lamac cooperations are just careless and really have no clue how to operate a resort like this. Strength: 1.Nice for nature and adventure lovers location is good for taking some air. Big parking place. Lot's of rooms for overnight stay. Cottage are very clean. Staff specially at the reception area and the lifeguard. Wave pool I am amazed, with the waves that's the must see attraction. Soon to open ZipLine this June or July. 7 Hectares area with plenty swimming pools to choose from. I am amazed with the place cause it is so Nature with the view of the waterfalls.

Weakness: No visible signage! Road is not yet paved properly. Expensive Entrance fee due to each pool has it's corresponding price. Expensive cottage and specially for those who are using tables and chairs it will cost you 350 and its very hot !, only good for 4 person a square table with 4 chairs. The waves in the wave pool, that you need to wait for 30 to 60 mins interval and the waving will last for just 15 mins or less.. huhuhuhu😭 As what is expected CR's so awful and dirty. May be due to there's many guest.

To sum up everything the price and the location it's not so competitive. But it's up for you to try. This is just my opinion based on my own point of view. I am hoping that they will invest on signage since they are asking the guest to pay high so that guest will not be lost.
