Impromtu overnight stay w/ the fam during Easter Sunday.

✅Made a reservation on the day while going to their resort (Originally planned in Aloguinsan Hermit's cove, but already full so we decided to go to Moalboal instead) ✅Was very happy they still had 1 room (4k/night for 4pax since 10yo kid is already considered adults as per fd) left available given it's Easter Sunday, all cebuanos are prolly celebrating in the beach with the fam. ✅2nd time around in this resort. 1st was way back 2018 ✅Staff are very friendly, hospitable and approachable they treated us just like the foreigners. Just fair enough

❌ 4k priced room w/ FREE 4 small bottles of mineral water, 4 sachets of Great taste white coffee,4 towels, 1 small sized safeguard shampoo and 2 sachets of head&shoulders shampoo (good for 4pax LOL RIGHT?), 1 roll of toilet paper ONLY. That's it! ❌No mini fridge coz the staff said mini fridge are only available for 6pax-9pax room. WOW! ❌Still old room just like 5 years ago, tv is not working we had to let fd know, just like the wifi's pw we had to ask for it lol ❌The blanket is so thin, thinner than the bedsheet LOL ❌You cannot do room charge if you order in the resto, you had to pay it in cash after ❌No shakes because they don't have ice anymore ❌But when we asked ice for the soda, it cost ₱10 LOL ❌Shower head is not working properly so we had to use the bucket and dipper LOL ❌It says if you check-in you can use the cottage for free, but except today they had to rent it out even if you paid for their rooms already because it's EASTER...

I’m writing a review solely for the HK restaurant. If I could rate it 0 Stars I would - please do not waste your time and money by eating here! Put simply, this is the worst restaurant I have visited in the Philippines and probably the whole of South East Asia. ||My girlfriend and I were visiting white beach for the day and decided to have lunch here. When we walked in, not one member of staff said hello or greeted us with a smile. We were then told all food would take 45 minutes to make which is crazy considering we were one of the few people in there. We ordered chicken katsu which was served with a bottle of sweet chilli sauce that was absolutely covered in Ants - the staff couldn’t understand why this isn’t acceptable to serve someone. Then my girlfriend was served her fried chicken which was completely raw, so much so that is was still bleeding all over the plate. Again the staff didn’t seem to care one bit and no one ever apologised. We then said we would just pay for the food we had to which the waitress rolled her eyes and muttered something under her breath. We paid our bill and again the waitress did not apologise for the food or even say thank you to us for coming. When confronted with this, she replied with a very sarcastic “You’re Welcome.” Some of the worse customer service I have ever received - please do not eat here, these people do not deserve you to spend your hard...

A Disappointing and Misleading Experience

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with our recent experienced at HK Resort. From the outset, the experience was marred by misleading advertising and a complete lack of accommodation from the staff.

The resort's sent us advertised amenities that were either unavailable or significantly misrepresented. This false advertising led to our initial booking. Furthermore, despite informing the resort of our party including an elderly person, we were assigned a room on the third floor – a significant inconvenience given the lack of any assistance offered.

When we attempted to cancel our reservation due to these issues, the staff displayed a shocking lack of professionalism and empathy. Their attitude was dismissive and unhelpful, and they ultimately charged us a cancellation fee of 1500 pesos despite the clear failings on their part. This is completely unacceptable.

The combination of misleading advertising, inconvenient room assignment, and the unaccommodating and rude staff makes HK Resort a place I would strongly advise against. Their disregard for customer satisfaction and blatant disregard for the issues raised is appalling. I expect a full refund of the 1500 pesos cancellation fee. I will be reporting this experience to the relevant consumer...

The food is great! The Kitchen staff are nice! But they need to improve their service in terms of cleanliness. Pros - Food is great, and the price are mid range - I can recommend their Humba - Kitchen staff are really accommodating - Has a lot of cottages inside - Aircondition Units are functioning well - With Hot Shower Neutral - Beach front is fine - Room is normal Cons - Kitchen closes early - Few overnight staff to attend to your needs - Toilet and Bath is small, defective flush - Since there is no cleaning staff over the night, the Common Toilets are really dirty. (worst) - No water early in the morning, Needs for pumping - Far away from highway, no nearby stores to buy necessities

It's a 30-minute tricycle ride from the tourism office, as you may need a tourism pass from there. It costs Php 200 for the ride. The room is spacious enough, with cable TV, cold aircon (though with no remote), bottled water and 3-in-1 coffee are provided (we have to ask for a heater since our room doesn't have one). The room lacks electric outlets. Data signal is poor inside the room. The resort itself is always crowded with guests especially the cottages. No social distancing and strict enforcing of health protocols. A portion of the resort is also under construction. The beach is crowded with people, not so fine sand. Their restaurant is a bit pricey but tastes good.

We stayed here for 3 days and 2 nights. Upon arrival the people in the reception area are too lazy to great guests one lady keeps scrolling in her phone while we wait for her to notice us. The room is olay but they don’t have slippers on it which is very un hygenic and there is no breakfast included. The beach is not that clean. We you go out in a bikini in the morning there are old guys watching you which is very inappropriate. When i get back home i had a lot of rashes and itch all over my body. As the bewch has a lot ofa plastic and diapers in it. I did not like my stay here. Please look for another resort.
