We were supposed to book through online but change the mind and decided to walk in. From Mandaue and after about a 2 hour drive to the North we finally arrived here at North sky beach resort.

1st impressions would suggest that the place was spacious, clean, and willing to accommodate guests ranging from couples to even larger groups. The parking area was adequate, the grasses and bushes and trees surrounding the place seem well maintained, and how the pools were situated gives a very good compliment to an overall landscape suggesting relaxation and chill.

The person at the reception gave a good welcome, accommodated us as expected by checking us in, gave us a walk through with the place's House Rules and he also gave a heads up on things that can and can't be done. After checking in he escorted us to our room.

The room was spacious enough it already has the necessary toilet trees including some including soap, shampoo, towels and they also provided drinking mineral or bottled water. The air conditioning unit seems an old unit but it's totally fine as long as it cools the whole room space however, for sensitive "sleepers," it would really not give you a sound rest at night due to it's a it's annoying noise once you turned it on.

The room was totally fine even if I find the mattress too stiff and the blankets to thin but what really turned me off is the bathroom. The bathroom didn't suggest a fresh scent when you get inside, the smell comes from the damp shower curtain that wasn't dried well and gave a very bad smell once you enter the bathroom. Also, I wish there was a biddet. They don't even have a pail and dipper to aid you when you do #2!

We noticed that they have a restaurant menu unfortunately almost 3/4s of what's in the menu is NOT available so we have to drive to the main part of the town to buy our own food. And since we know that they're charging corkage fees for foods brought from outside, we have to slip it in to make sure we get to eat something for dinner without getting annoyed ordering from the menu of the restaurant which in fact is not available. This is something you guys need to work on. If you're charging corkage fees, please make sure that your guests can get as much food from your restaurant's menu and not having to run somewhere else for food especially that there are very limited options nearby. And oh what a big miss to have NO COFFEE AVAILABLE FOR BREAKFAST...that's non-negotiable, even an instant 3in1 coffee sachetnis very basic! If you can't work on your restaurant's menu, waive those corkage fee/s off.

Around 6pm, it rained hard and we noticed that the parking lawn was flooded. It was impossible to get to my motor bike without having my feet wet. I could go on and on with the things that don't please me much, but I'd rather give that opportunity for the management and owner of this place to improve on things that we wish could've been improved.

If I have to come back, that would be because of the warm water in the pool and how the pools are situated, and the warm sea that you can enjoy just right during sunrise. I look forward to coming back here unannounced and see how they've...

I had the need to be in the area of this resort for a funeral, so it was very convenient from that aspect, and was fine for a no frills short stay.||It was a confusing place in some respects.||On walking down the drive, you see beautifully well kept grounds and pool, and you even see a nice looking façade of the rooms, but then you enter the room, and apart from being extremely basic, the rooms are very 1960ish.||Specifically, there are no safes in the rooms, and the en-suite shower cubicle and it's workings are very old.||I noted that the plastic shower curtain was disgustingly filthy with mould, and these need to be removed ASAP !||I also noted that the hot water was turned off early each of my first 2 nights, so a hot shower after a long day was never going to happen.||I mentioned this to a member of staff, and I had hot water on the 3rd night.||Breakfast was unpalatable to say the least.||No buffet, no ordering from a menu, simply here is your breakfast, which on the first morning, consisted of a fried egg, rice, and a blob of disgusting Spam.||The breakfast was the same on the 2nd morning, so I didn't have it. ||I just had coffee. (also disgusting 3 in 1 stuff)||On the 3rd morning, I didn't bother at all !||Nice enough place for a short stay, but you wouldn't choose the place if you had a choice.||Wifi was free, and staff were friendly enough.||I saw no evidence of housekeeping in my 3 days, and indeed, my room was not touched from check in to check out.||With a few changes, they could have something really good.||I hope it improves for future guests !||It was easy enough to find on the Central...

It was a gloomy day when we visited.

Staff: 5 stars for their staff! Lee, the front desk personnel is very accommodating and helpful. I have accidently booked incorrect dates and Lee helped me throughout the process. Also their other staff, didn't get her name but she cleans, gives extra linens and is the casheir/waitress of their restaurant. She is attentive despite having too many tasks on her hands.

Food: very much needs improvement. Its not bad but is not good too. Its cheap but serving isn't right. They served lumpia shanghai that costs 100 pesos but it was just like 2 pieces that was cut into smaller pieces. Most of the food on their menu was also not available. Of all their variants, I recommend ngohiong. Overall, if I were to visit again, I will bring my own food even they have corkage 😂 petition to have corkage waived if majority of their menu is not available.

Place: ✅pool - Php 150 for day use ✅cottage - Php 600 ✅ family rooms - I think this starts at Php 2,100? I am not really sure but the family room we booked was huge and had 2 double beds and 1 bunk bed. The bathroom is very small and needs improvement. ✅ seafront

Location: 5 to 10 mins way from 7/11, Duko Duko Eatery and Prince Warehouse. Across prince, there's many food options just in case you don't want to eat at their restaurant.

Conclusion: 3 stars because restaurant and bathrooms really needs improvement. However, been visiting North Sky even before their rental rooms were finished and the other pool was still a work in progress. I have seen the improvement and I hope the bathroom and restaurant improves too 😊 will...

We chose this resort over the other resorts in the northern part of Cebu that I visited & inquired prior to our vacation, first, because of the location - the closest from Mandaue on my list of choices. Second, because of the nice landscapes, newly painted houses, well maintained & clean looking area. Third, because of its affordable price. When we entered our room (the highest rate of the resort), it was very spacious, with a mini ref inside & a lot of place to put on your things. But the downside of this resort are these: - very small bathroom with no dipper in it. - low capacity AC unit for the size of the room & possible not regularly maintained. - not so sanitized pool, specially when there's a lot of people using it you can clearly see how bad it is, not regularly maintained also I guess. - their restaurant cannot give a good & complete service, knowing that they also charge for some corkage (well base on experience, you can easily get away with this one, they're not that strict I think) Over all it is still a good & quite place to stay in as what we have experienced, still had a good memories. I would still recommend this resort. P.S. to the owner or management of this resort, if you ever have a chance on reading this review, please do consider & have some improvements base on the common complain or negative reviews of your previous customers. Because honestly I we would like to revisit some time. Thank you.
