Ocean Bay Beach Resort — Hotel in Cebu

这就一个潜水宿舍，棚户区性质，如果一晚上150块钱也不是不行，但是潜水中心收了我们430，就离谱。。具体问题都在下面细说了，主要是回到国内要求必须写够50个汉字。||Firstly, it's important to clarify that this isn't a hotel, despite the outrageous price we paid. The resort's dive centre charged us over 3000 pesos per night (equivalent to 430 RMB). We had all assumed that this price would guarantee a decent accommodation, but we were in for a rude awakening. Let's refer to this place as a mere shelter, consisting of an old building with two beds. The sheets appeared filthy, and all the furniture looked shabby and disheveled. There was no provision for drinking water, shower gel, shampoo, hairdryer, or kettle. The only features were two towers that were fading from white to grey. The following day, the toilet became clogged. Worse still, on the fifth day, the power and water supplies were cut off at 7 am without any prior warning. We waited patiently until 7:30, only to receive a reply from the staff that the power wouldn't be restored until 5 pm. Fortunately, we were scheduled to depart at 8 am the next day. I'm perplexed about how the pricing was determined, as this 'hotel' offered the worst experience I have ever encountered, given the exorbitant cost.||Regarding the Dala Dive Centre, a diving establishment operated by Chinese DMs, it has a significant presence in the Chinese diving tourism industry in this region. This is evident from the frequency with which even random tutu drivers outside restaurants inquire about our destination, "to the ocean bay?" Although I cannot speak on behalf of other divers, I would like to share my personal experience with this diving centre. Firstly, prior to our trip, we were only provided with commercial pictures of the accommodation as information, and the actual name of the hotel was only communicated to us two days before our arrival. Granted, we could have been more diligent in checking for further details online or exercising caution when no hotel name was initially disclosed, but this fact remains unchanged: we felt we had been misled in some manner. Secondly, although the diving package was advertised as an all-inclusive price, we were informed by the diving centre via text message on our first night in Dalaguete that there would be an additional cost of 45 RMB per person for lunch boxes the following day for our diving activities. It was unusual that three dives per day did not include a complimentary lunch box, considering that our regular dinner at a famous local restaurant only cost us 50 RMB per person. Lastly, on our first diving day, our group of seven divers was assigned only one dive guide. DONT go to the restaurant. Green chicken was served and I couldn't believe it. A steak was ordered and there wasn't any meat ( maybe 4 bites) , it wasnt even a T-Bone steak like they advertised. My buddies left a bad review and they aggressively responded because there clearly defensive. Well guess what, it wasn't good and that's just that. Nothing personal against staff or anyone (the waitress was actually extremely nice), but irregardless I just wouldn't want anyone to make the same mistake we did. I'm on vacation, not like I would go out of my way to review somewhere if it wasn't true. Get over it, and just work on doing better. Otherwise you clearly don't understand what constructive criticism is, which is a nessicity for doing good buissness. PS: If you are really trying to say we're lying, then you are clearly lying to yourself to try and make yourself look better on your reviews, which is not only desperate but kind of sad. If you try and claim that was a t bone steak, then you have clearly never had one, which is also sad. So I won't even get into why your terrible " T-Bone steak" is not only the wrong cut, but completely meatless. You've lied on here multiple times to try and justify the bad food, and yourself. But guess what? Everyone's going to read this and see for themselves all the evidence. You've not only made yourself look like a complete imbecile, but you've proven every one of our points. The claim we weren't sent to dive point is just humorous, because we never heard of it before the guy at the dive shop establishment told us to go there, and the reason we were sent to the other establishment is because apparently some american people died about week ago during those activitys and since discontinued it. But of course, go and claim that we're "lying" YET AGAIN to desperately make yourself look better. You clearly have something to prove and we seem to have hurt your precious feelings. But all you've done at the end of the day is drop your rating .2 , which still doesn't justify or accurately represent your piss poor establishment. Your reviews are already bad in general so I understand why you're so insecure about it, but hopefully you can learn from this and gain some knowledge on how to succefully run a business. I wouldn't have even bothered replying to your ignorance, but when you go out of your way to make up things to justify yourself, I'm then forced to acknowledge it and address it in order to help people who arnt from here so they don't end up at places like...

We arrived here on Sunday afternoon and stayed overnight. We stayed here last year and were very surprised by the many positive changes, especially in the room and in the restaurant.

The room: The room was clean and acceptable for the price. One could modernize here and there something, but it is ok.

The staff: very friendly and helpful staff.

The restaurant: Our food was served quickly and hot, which was not the case a year ago. At that time we had to wait an hour for the meal and then it was not really warm. Visually, the dishes have also changed, as well as the variety of dishes. We were very positively surprised. I too had a T-bone steak and it was absolutely delicious. I have ordered the steak English, but unfortunately get medium. The complaint was absolutely no problem, because I got a new one directly. Small note, the herb butter is a dream! ;) The portion was more than good for the price, because in Cebu City I would have had to pay much more for it. My girlfriend had a chicken breast steak and that was unobjectionable. So nothing green or the same, what the pre-posters think. As well as the drinks. It was all available from the menu except Vodka Red Bull. Rum-Cola was also available. ;) ...but they have no cocktails.

It is really a shame what some here for reviews, especially the 5 persons in front of me. Is very strange that with these reviews rather advertisement is made for another restaurant. That's what gives the impression that you want to ruin the business. Especially if you look at other reviews from these people. All most negative. A rogue who thinks evil. hehehehe ... ;)

I can understand the owner well if he is embarrassed by these reviews are absolutely unjustified. So dear people, do not be fooled by such fake posters. My pictures speak for themselves. ;)
