Seaview Moonrise Café & Resort — Hotel in Cebu

This is possibly a delightful area. But, I must say that this is one of the worst areas to dine at. My experience there is quite neutral, but there is so much flies in the area. May be normal, as we are eating in a open-area. But it’s down-right infuriating! When I asked why there were so much flies, the staff had replied that there was a poultry nearby. First off, a little word of advice, don’t put the restaurant/cafe near the damned poultry, or maybe don’t place the poultry near the restaurant/cafe. It’s annoying, really. I didn’t have a peaceful time enjoying a nice meal with my family. The staff were acting quite sloppy with the problem, and they didn’t even try to hide their unwillingness on their facial expressions, and they kept shooting glances towards us. And hey, I’m not assuming or anything, because I had observed them and they would always glance in our way, and not the kind of glance that they are trying to see if we would need something from them. Such a shame, the food was actually quite amazing and the serving time was quick, it was just the spot and the staff that made me feel negative about the place. Kindly do something about the flies for the future when other people will come and dine in the restaurant/cafe or check-in the rooms there. Now, the flies may seem normal and I’m just acting like the typical ‘Karen’ attitude, but surely, anyone would be infuriated with flies repeatedly coming back and hang around on your food. How disgusting, who knows where they had landed on, probably on some road-kill nearby, feces (human waste), garbage, or on any other disgusting thing laying around. And also, we asked for candles to be lit up in hopes that it would drive away the flies, it didn’t work. We asked for a electric fan to be turned on and to be faced in our direction, we had also requested to be moved to another table, which the staff had kindly agreed, and we even waved handkerchiefs and our hands to shoo away the flies, it didn’t work at all! Do something about the flies, I know you can’t control them or something as they are a part of nature, but maybe buy those small machines with blue lights for them? Now, that is all that I have to type...

Very nice place, cozy and all their staff are very accommodating and attentive. Food is excellent and cooked just the way we want it. You deserve a 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. We will come back again when the swimming and their rooms are ready. Right now still under...

This place is really worth visiting more than once. The food is great, the service spot on and the view is superb. I had a lot fun playing foosball and playing music on the jukebox. The prices are quite reasonable too. I'll be back with more...
