Sitting right on the beach, it is built to screen out virtually all views?||Rooms are essentially built around pool with huge water slide.||However a water expert advised "not to swim" as water is always murky, chlorinated but lacking in 1 treatment chemical.||It's the only place in town, long bedrooms, some with bathroom ensuite. Not fancy although some of the furniture is out of place (Period style, flocked red velvet fabric next to wrought iron next to plastic chairs in dining room.)||While they are still painting and upgrading from after typhoon - too much attention is on "fancywork" that adds nothing to the place. Large ceramic tile floors that are too slippery as there is a pool n the area. Best seat, right by the sea are reserved for those practically picnicking there. The diners seldom sit there.||Much deep cleaning and basic tidying dusting and scrubbing needs to be done. I was charged USD35 equivalent for a long room - with 3 single beds. Did did have aircon, but the room is not completely sealed off. There were ventilation points throughout. I also heard every motorcylce that roared by. I essentially bathed in a tiny toilet, water scooped out of bucket - not attached to my room. A large office area with more than 10 staff adjacent to my room. All females shared this toilet. However the tiny toilet had a good breeze with coconut trees outside the window - redeemed.||School groups come in, diving equipment and all. An NGO occupies most of 3rd floor for their office. traveling vendors use it for presentations. Music allowed to blast everyone, if not the huge tv that no one watches is blaring away?||||Strange place redeemed by smiling staff and management! Since "all welcome".|| Should have designated...
Read moreI would definitely not recommend this Hotel, they RIP US OFF knowing we are from cebu! The Hotel billed extra DAILY charge by using their facilities such as kitchen, Hall, Dining, electricity lights etc... they charge extra 300 pesos daily even this was not part of the negotiation. They invited us to use their kitchen and still they charge us at the end of stay! These facilities are normaly included in the hotel room rates! Never had this experience that you will be charge extra for using them! My personnel stayed more than 20 days as we had small project and was only using the facilities at night time only! Our wrong is that we did not have a written agreement. The Owner is working in the goverment sector too. This is for everybody to know be smart, ask written agreement anywhere in ilo-ilo esp. these hotel. Even the charge of transportation, you will be charged double the price as if you are not a filipino. Also small Tindahan, small chips cost 10 pesos at first then the next day it was 15 pesos already as they knew that we are not form there! Pati yung pag rent ng Van yung usapan 2k a month lang kasi wala pang 5km ang layo the next day it turned 1500 na per DAY yung rent!!! omg subra naman!!! I am really big time...
