Gabi Resort and Spa — Hotel in Cordova

The place is new so I'm going to be fair about this review. There are areas that need improvement. First, we got there an hour earlier than the 2pm check in time. I was with my senior parents. We had to wait quite long just to get in the room. I don't think they have early check ins. Since 12noon is the check out time, I'm assuming the room should've been already prepared and cleaned after the previous occupants have left. My parents were quite tired and jetlagged from the 15 hour trip from new York, they should've accommodated us a bit earlier. Rooms are clean , pool is Ok, no beach and food is ok. But one thing I would praise about this resort is the staff. They were very helpful and gave us the much needed assistance especially that my father had trouble walking. They also moved them to a better room on the poolside the next day so they don't have to keep going up and down the stairs. They heeded our special requests and they made sure my parents were comfortable. There is still room for I improvement since its still a new place. Just keep up the good work...

The place opened sometime in july 2016. The location is a bit far from the urban cities. If you want to have a night party, I cannot recommend this place. However, if you are looking for intimate moments with your family or significant other, this plqce fits exactly. The staff are friendy and accommodating.
