Mount Avangan Eco Adventure Park — Hotel in Coron

We loved our stay there!! It is a small, family run business and they treat their guests as such too.

They will pick you up from the main road on your way from the airport and drop you off or collect you anywhere else upon arrangement as well, for a fee. That is very handy, as the site is off the main road, about a 20min ride from the city. They also offer drinks and home cooked meals, simple yet delicious. You can book day trips through them too. Just be mindful, it is cash only (like most of the country, especially the islands) and you pay for all your extras (f.ex. transport, food, drinks, trips,..) when you check out.

There is wifi, it seemed to be working in the reception / bar area, but if you have data, that works fine most of the time. The bathrooms are shared between the guests and sometimes little frogs- they are harmless. The pool was nice to swim in and relax and the staff also create art pieces from scrap material, which I though was super cool. The bridge to the cabins is a bit wonky, but you get used to it aftwr a while. The place really gives you that authentic, simple vibe, being surrounded by nature and enjoying the peace and quite.

The couple running the business are such lovely, genuine people, always willing to help. Cannot recommend this place wnough, I would most definitely...

We stayed here for four nights. The reason, that we picked it were amazing reviews. It was really bad. The road is from one side closed and from other side privat (is some path options). Don't get here in rain on your motorbike. It is too dangerous. It is far from Coron and beaches. Warmly and friendly owners were good, but not interested about you. In the tents rains (we get compensations, but still it was weird approache.) It is not for everybody. Insect lovers should be happy, but do not picked it, if you are afraid from bugs and spiders. Very good for birdwatchers. But not as so awsome as other places. It was really calm (just working - cut the grass - started from 8:00. The breakfast was nice, food expensiver. The bath ist really basic. What i hate was, that there were no signal (and mobile internet), just some WiFi box (which is quite funny) for 1 peso per minute. They try to renew it, but... We are okej with a lot of thing, but I expected from this place little bit more. It is not worthy...

We had an amazing stay at Mount Avangan Eco Adventure. The owner and his wife were the most welcoming host's we have had so far. They were very helpful and accommodating in our requests. We were able to book activities and services via them, which made our stay in Coron even more pleasant.

Adventure is in the name, as it is already an Adventure coming here. You stay in a secluded area nearby an Mountain, from which you have amazing sunset views (only 10 minute hike). Because it is secluded (but still closeby coron town: 10 min by motorbike), and because there is only 5 accommodation, you don't share it with many other tourist. Instead you are able to meet locals, as the pool is open for day passes for locals. Also, the pool is very big and clean. The accommodation we stayed in was clean, and it felt like camping (glamping). It is not luxurious but has all the basics someone needs. Wifi is strong at the restaurant and the Local menu was nice. Overall we highly recommend to stay here....
