We spent 5 nights/6 days at Two Seasons Coron at the beginning of August as a family of three. ||The stay was very enjoyable and it is not easy to find serious flaws neither in the place nor in the way the resort is managed.||First and foremost, from the booking stage to the drop off at the airport after check-out, the staff are all exceptionally friendly and welcoming, and they try to please and offer you a truly exceptional experience.||The place is very nice, well kept and peaceful. The sandbar connecting the main island to the islet beside is beautiful and ever changing in landscape according to the tide. At low tide you can walk through the sandbar to a secluded little cove with a fantastic scenery, although you need to pay a fee of Php 150/person to the caretaker of the island beaide. The only downside is that sometimes there are boats of day trippers anchored there with music at full blast volume. I realize it is not under the direct purview of the resort, but still it is annoying.||The main beach of the resort is very nice, clean and peaceful, albeit not very long. It is best (but not really necessary) to enter the sea water with proper shoes to avoid getting hurt on some rocks and other potential risks. There is also a nice beach at the back of the resort, but it is not swimmable because of the mangroves. The resort offers free snorkelling gear, free kayaks, pool table, volleyball net, paddle boarding. The clear bottom kayak is for rent and costs Php 800 for 30 minutes. The only problem on the main beach is that sandflies can be a real nuissance: while my son and I got away unscathed, my wife got in one afternoon at least 15 sandfly bites all over her body which made her severely itchy for 10 days and forced her to take antistaminics. Maybe some fumigation would help, since the beach is not very long.||Snorkelling on the main beach is quite nice, and although the corals are mostly dead, there is a good variety of marine life. While scuba diving along the barrier wall in front of the main beach you can spot turtles and quite a lot of fishes. However you need to take a boat for a really good diving experience and that's very expensive unless you are a group and can share the cost of the boat which is really high.||The villas are big and very well appointed. Everything works fine and it is very quiet. We were assigned room 306 (beachfront villa) which is conveniently located and faces both the main beach and the mangrove beach with an unobstructed view. The only problem we found is that the toilet was quite smelly, but that's a common problem in this type of resorts. ||Breakfast is good, with a reasonable variety of food. The staff do their best to accommodate any request. The dinner options included in the package are abundant and of very high quality and so is the lunch provided during the island hopping tour included in the price. The whole tour is actually very well organized and impeccable in any respect.||The a la carte menu is a bit limited and quite expensive, but that's to be expected in a resort which is so secluded.||The airport transfers are included in the price and are very well organized and quite fast.||What could be improved? Maybe breakfast could have better quality cold cuts and add options such as smoked salmon. Something could be done also to improve the dinner menu.||I think they should relax the rule for which at 6 pm you have to get out of the sea water. I really don't see why one has to get out if the weather is good and he/she is enjoying a swim after dusk. Although they ask you nicely, it is a bit annoying to be asked to get out of the water at 6 pm sharp. ||The price of the accommodation is high, which makes for a merely acceptable rapport quality / price. We are in fact at high European levels in terms of costs. Maybe prices could be kept down by organizing group tours instead of private ones. Also, it would be good if they could offer more than one tour for those who stay longer than the regular 2 night/3 day package. (In fact there is not much to do beyond the third day). They could do so by putting together small groups of interested guests rather than offering only very expensive private boat tours. The same could be done for scuba diving trips. ||In summary, although the experience was already very good, with some small tweakings this place could become a real gem.||Will we be back? Most probably yes, as, compared to many other similarly priced resorts in the Philippines, the customer service, the accommodation and the quality of food is at a higher level at Two Seasons Coron. Definitely...

Read moreTwo seasons island resort.. EXCEEDED all our expectations. We did the 4 days 3 night honeymoon package, and when they have a package.. do it, don’t even hesitate on the price! It’s worth every penny. The resort itself was beautiful, on an island with white sand beaches, palm trees, and greenery. It’s also connected to another island which you can walk during low tide via sandbar with a small fee and waiver. The island tip bungalow was the perfect private bungalow with a plunge pool. It was stunning to watch sunrise and sunset from our bungalow. Also, the resort sets up airport transfer and island transport (by speedboat). The transport crew for land and sea was also outstanding and very professional. they always made us feel safe and secured!
Now.. for the food. All the food and drinks were delicious! Compliments to the chef every night because the flavors were not missed!!! It’s a lot of food when you order, I wish my spouse and I shared many of our meals as it was a lot of food, and I hate wasting! The free breakfast every morning had a diverse array of American and Filipino food, it was the perfect combo! Shout out to the waiting staff, they are truly remarkable. They do such a good job, and although it can get busy during meal times, they did their best to refill waters and make sure you were taken care of. Paul was our server for our boat tour and our romantic dinner and he is truly wonderful. He’s so attentive, kind, and had the best customer service! Also shout out to Ben, reye, Christian, Jabes, Fernando, and joseph, we had delicious cocktails, and the bartenders made them so yummy. The pool bar is swim up. I can’t remember what the official drink is called but the drink with rum, lime, and brown sugar is a must! All the Filipino food was authentic tasting and it reminded me of home cooking! Must try is the spicy pugita (octopus)- definitely authentic Filipino food and quite tasty!!
The tour and water sports crew.. amazing, phenomenal crew they have! First, it’s free to rent snorkeling gear and fins, it’s first come first serve so make sure you get what you need! We didn’t use the paddle boards or canoes, they have a clear canoe, but others did and the sport crew staff helped people! As for our tour, because we did the honeymoon package, it ended up being a private tour which was so perfect because our guide, Eric, was phenomenal. I want him to be my guide every time! He’s an expert diver and he was the perfect Pinoy photographer! The crew that tended to the boat, captain JR, Danny, and Adrian were equally amazing, tending to the boat and making sure we got to our destinations safely and helping us to get off and on the boat. I know that two seasons already charged a service charge, the tip for the staff, but I tipped several times because the customer service for the food and tour was outstanding! Plus, the tip was always appreciated and never expected so it warmed my heart!
The front staff was excellent, Dana, cess, Evan, and rico did a great job coordinating our itinerary and assisting in transportation. Nico and the housekeeping staff did a great job everyday. We didn’t ask for housekeeping everyday but they came and always left homemade cookies (they come every night to deliver cookies)!
As part of our honeymoon package, we had a spa massage at Narra spa and Alma and cel did a phenomenal job, my spouse and I both said it was one of the best massages we’ve ever had. They use oil (I did eucalyptus) and it was great. I think my only con was that they used oil on the outline of my hairline and face and I had just washed my hair, it wasn’t a big deal, I just washed my hair again but just note that oil will get in your hair and if you have sensitive skin, note that (they ask before you start)!
It’s a long review because two Seasons island resort will be a place we will recommend and hope to come back to soon, I can’t speak for the other two season resort’s but if you want an island getaway, this place is it! Don’t walk, but run to this...
