The SDI and TDI dive shop is top notch. They have the purist air for the scuba tanks available because quality and safety are at the forefront of everything that they do. Their dive staff are inspiring and professional.

It is inspiring to stay here and learn of their vision and the actions behind it. The vegan options are remarkable as the organic produce us locally sourced. They have made a conscious effort to walk the walk to the extent that they offer bamboo toothbrushes, toothpaste pellets, no plastic packaging, organic shampoo, body wash, conditioner, and hand soap. Their dive professionals are experienced leaders in Marine conservation. The murals and artwork are all locally produced and add to the quality atmosphere. All of the water is treated and recycled for landscaping.

The rooms are made of insulated and air conditioned recycled shipping containers. My bed was completely comfortable, and I slept for longer than usual.

This is practically the only dive resort I have seen that offers technical diving support, complete gear including DPVs, a training pool, amenities for underwater photography (dedicated room for camera tables with multiple outlets for charging), AND AT THE SAME TIME (with emphasis on this part), offers amazing food, amazing accommodations, while being eco-friendly. All of this happens in an area that is internationally popular for macro diving with 30-meter visibility. Not failing to mention, the site has unlimited turtles, ans other large animals that non-macro divers would also enjoy. They have professional chefs so you can request a specific diet (without compromising on taste), and their coffee house is also famous for their bakery and siphon coffee. Non-divers come here for food and coffee, whereas divers like me come here for both food, coffee, and diving. Would definitely recommend, as the rooms are at par as that of 4-star hotels, and contain environment-friendly toiletries. They also support fund-raising campaigns for ecologic preservation...

Stayed 5 nights in this wonderful resort and I have yet to find the words to give poetic justice to this amazing place.||Silver Reef gives you your wants like they were a need you never ever imagined you would have, but in a subtle, non truculent manner that makes you feel like it was your idea to begin with.||Dining at Silver Reef is an experience on it’s own.
