The place is clean, but full of insects. They come from the main door which is not isolated. I had a cockroach first day in my room and big spider second day besides the normal little ants which were part of the room. My friend rented a bike and the hotel employees just took it for a ride to finish their errands without even asking her. Plus they charge more for rental than other places. If you do not want to drive expect to pay european prices for taxis as there is no grab or nth near there. Internet was non existent-it works maybe 5-10 min a days. Most of the time you cannot even handle a call as it cuts off. Also my local number wifi didnt work there there was no reception most of the time it was an E. We checked out early to go Cebu city back as I had to work and there I couldnt work. They offered to drive us to the port for 500 php and the driver kept on persisting on the way that the wifi works he uses it always. Plus a lady that worked there decided to come with us ont he trip that we were paying to be taken to port for a free ride as she had errands to finish. I mean seriously? Without even asking like that was the most normal thing in the world. I cant tell you if this was just our experience or not but this place is for someone who wants to be cut of the world or is just doing backpacking. People on the island will try to take advantage of you the whole time for anything which will make your stay in this island not...
Read moreI would love to be able to leave 10 stars! This place is lovely managed by two amazing sisters: they make you feel so welcome and they are ready to help you in any circumstances. I felt at home in my two weeks here. And I'm a nomad... I know how difficult it is to find the perfect place. The rooms are new, modern, extremely clean and comfortable. The colors are relaxing and pleasant. I loved the yellow curtains! The light was so warm and soft! This place is strategically well located: any part of Panglao is easy to reach by motorbike, and Tagbilaran also is very close.
They installed toilet seats in a couple of rooms: if it's important for you, ask for it, while making your reservation. Some reviews mentioned ants... Of course you can meet some ants: almost everywhere, in the Philippines... Mother nature is our host! I just sprayed a bit of repellent in the point in which I've seen them before going out, and I've never had problems after. The sheets are super clean, the cleanest I've seen traveling in many islands: the only way to have ants in your bed is eating there and letting crumbles fall all around.
I recommend this lovely inn without doubts: you'll never regret!
My best compliment to the management and all the staff: it's very rare finding such a wonderful atmosphere. Well done!
Thanks a million... I hope I'll see...
Read moreWe booked a twin apartment for 2 nights. The hotel itself is made up of 5 mini apartment blocks with a shared garden area infront of them all. The garden area had small tables with chairs with free coffee on each, and an umbrella covering each table. This was a lovely touch. Our room was spacious and bright with amenities such as smart TV, AC unit, and table & chairs inside. The shower pressure was a little weak but the temperature was good. The hotel was reachable by taxi and we also rented a motorbike through the hotel which was 400 pesos per day (included delivery and pick up from hotel). I recommend renting the motorbike in order to get around Bohol and Panglao islands because grab does not work there. The highlight for us was the friendly and helpful staff. They were very happy to help with renting the bike and taking us back to the ferry port when the taxi and Tuk Tuks...
