I'm sorry to share this but it was our less-than-ideal experience at Madison Garden and Residences in Bohol. It seems there were several issues during our stay. Let me share each point:
No Welcoming Atmosphere. Looks haunted, disappointing that no one greeted us upon arrival. A warm reception can significantly impact the overall experience.
Room Allocation, It's understandable that paying more and receiving a smaller room can be frustrating. Consistency in room sizes is essential for guest satisfaction.
Refrigerator and Microwave. Having a refrigerator but no microwave inside the room is inconvenient. Charging ₱30 each use for microwave use in the kitchen area seems unusual.
It's unfortunate that the hotel/establishment appears to have mismanagement issues. The haunted perception might be due to maintenance or cleanliness and service desk concerns.
Security and Pool Slide Safety. On a positive note, the security guard's regular rounds are commendable. However, the unsafe pool slide resulting in our child's injury is concerning.
Unsanitized CR (Restroom). The presence of worms and unsanitized conditions in the restroom (CR) is unacceptable. Hygiene is crucial for guest comfort.

I booked the hotel for my parents trip to BOHOL and it was so worth it! My parents were telling me how friendly the staffs are, how clean the place is, and how everything went smoothly with their check-in even though they arrived at almost 12 am.
Whenever I also have inquiries, they immediately answer everything. The free breakfast was top notch (as per my parents). Free airport transfer was also amazing since we didn’t need to book grabcar and it was a hassle free transfer considering their flight was 6 am.
The place was also just 10 minutes away from Alona beach, and it’s basically just along the highway making traveling a lot easier! Pool is always clean! They also love the garden view of the place making it more relaxing!
I would definitely recommend this place guys!!! 1M/10 since they gave a memorable experience to my parents by welcoming them kindly, assisting their needs politely, and the room was also how it is on the pictures!!
By the way, their phone needs updating in Agoda, I think they probably forgot to update it but you can easily contact them by getting their phone number from their google business profile. But aside from that, I SOOOOOO LOVE and RECOMMEND...
Read moreWe stayed for 2 nights in here and unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. The bathroom had a constant high-pitched noise that was especially annoying at night. To make matters worse, the power went out twice — once around midnight and again early in the morning.
There were also hygiene concerns: we spotted bugs or tiny cockroaches in the bathroom, and there was bird poop on the chair outside the accommodation, some of which even stuck to my shorts.
Service was poor from the start. No one welcomed or assisted us upon arrival — I had to call for attention myself, even while carrying a baby. During breakfast, the staff were loudly playing Mobile Legends in the back, practically shouting, making it difficult to eat peacefully. The food service was also unimpressive; I’m not even sure the staff knew how to prepare a proper omelet. In addition the room that shown in Agoda website is not the room we get in person at all.
Overall, the stay lacked basic hospitality, cleanliness, and professionalism. Definitely not worth...
