Midnite Inn — Hotel in Dauis

5 star service without being a 5 star hotel. The lovely staff and the manager John have a heart made of gold. I am so glad I stranded there. I got very very sick on my travels and I dragged myself there with the last of my strength. I have not been able to leave the bed for 40 hours. So I can really judge that the beds and pillows are super comfy ;) In the meantime the team has really tried to bring be back to life. Some of the ladies went out just to get me some bananas. The other morning they surprised me at my door with a fresh made chicken soup (probably the best I have ever had). Their hospitality and kindness is a 10 out of 10. I cannot thank the team of Midnite Inn enough for taking care of me so well so I could recover a bit.

Despite of that, the room and restroom was spotlessly clean, and so was the whole premise. It was very quiet during the night because it is a bit outside of the touristic center. But John also helps his guests renting a scooter, if needed.

Hidden gem with room for improvement.

Pro’s: clean but small room with nice shower. Little private terrace in front. Kind family that tries to make you feel at home. Reception with snacks & drinks available. Scooter rental can easily be arranged. If you’re visiting for only 2 days, we found this location to be perfect as it’s quite close to the port, not too far from chocolate hills to do it with a scooter and still not too far from the Panglao center (25min drive with scooter)

Cons: as of writing, still no restaurant and empty pool. Would be also nice if the hosts spoke a little bit better English. The drive to Panglao center is manageable, but be prepared it will take you some time.

Seems like this place needs some minor little improvements to get to its full potential. However, the very low price as of writing makes...

We really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are really clean and comfortable, the bed was good, we had air con, a tv and a desk in the room, hanging space and the bathroom was large and very clean. Our hosts - a lovely family - were very welcoming and helpful. They offered to clean our room during our stay and for us to have clean towels. We were provided with water refills whenever needed and toiletries. The gardens are immaculate and beautifully planted. There is comfortable outside seating areas and tables, it really is a lovely place to stay. It does not have any dining out places nearby but food can be ordered in. There is a burger place just 5 minutes walk away as well as a selection of shops - a bakery that sells really good cakes super cheap, and...
