My opinion here may be a bit skewed as I went there on a national holiday for family reasons. It was absolutely dirty, the air smelled of rotting food mixed with second hand smoke and salt from the sea breeze. Taking in a breath, be it by nostril or mouth, made me want to vomit every single time. Would not recommend going to the house looking things near the beach, as that is where the terrible conditions were. The beach itself though is even worse, as compared to everywhere else, it has a black sand beach. They tried to turn it yellow but through erosion the black can still be seen through the sand. The water itself is not worth swimming in at all, having driftwood and random waste ranging from used bottles to actual baby diapers just floating in the water. Now you may be thinking that the pool may be better compared to the beach but it is very much not. Super crowded and has a toll booth before you're even allowed in. Playground though isn't bad anymore, being a covered court playground. May be one of the few redeeming factors to this place. However my days as a child are long gone so it wasn't of much use to me. The restaurant wasn't bad at all, having clean air, a gentle sea breeze, and most importantly, little to no people around. I spent most of my time there. The left-hand side I didn't go to at all, so the experience on the right side either speaks for both or could be better. Overall, a 1/5 stars. Not as good as...

First of all they are not pet friendly place, considers your fur pet that they will bite all people inside, they will cage your pet on a shabby cage that can be easily stolen by other people, and incidentaly one group was about to claim their pet dog, but is nowhere to be found 🤣. That's why I never intended to surrender my pet dog after all, she's part of our family.

PS. my pet dog is Syberian Husky, super bait, super ganda, kids are even holding her beside me in the gate but still they think she will bite 😂. They can clearly see she is not aggressive based on how she behave. Proof is that the kids and some people are petting her.

Second, the place is not that good as before, it is dirty and not properly maintained, the air is heavy because of the crowd. I couldn't even imagine what to tell about the pool, so it is up to your imagination.

Good side you can fake pictures here and there and that's it.

Good luck if you want...

I can’t give even 1 star for entrance ticket cashier woman, but can give 5 star for restaurant and pool workers.|We came about 11 am and wanted to take room. We had 80 years old senior citizen in the car. Entrance ticket cashier forced us to buy open cottage for 1 hour because room can only be used 12 o’clock even room was ready and we are walk-in customers. We also didn’t want to wait 1 hour in car with 80 years old mom. This is not customer service that they want us to visit them again. After all we get room 0,5 hours earlier in case we can give it away next day 1 hour earlier.|After buying room, it will still cost 200 pesos for everybody who want to sleep overnight. In addition of that everybody need to pay foam bed cost. Also extra payment swimming in th sea. Next payment for swimming in pool. This is too expensive to come with big family. That’s why some family members went to...

Black sand beach and crystal clear water-- wow! It's a special place. The beach tapers gradually, and the waves are typically small and gentle, which is great for children. There are loads of picnic tables. There are fun photo opportunities with colorful characters. The pool is fantastic with 4 large slides on one end for bigger kids and 4 smaller slides in the more shallow end. It was crowded and the lifeguard was not regulating the slides as closely as I would have liked. I got hit by a train of 3 kids because they didn't wait for me to clear the area before they zoomed down. So... keep a close watch on your children. The bird dome wasn't open. There is also a large playground.

My stay there was free courtesy of the company I’m currently in so I’m not really sure about the prices. I only heard that the pool access costs Php 75. The place is good and clean! The top 3 things that I love here are: (1) The statues of cartoon characters, animals, monsters; (2) The superb view of sunset; and (3) The out-of-the-country inspired design you’ll see the moment you enter the resort. I love the castle, the playground and how the cleanliness is maintained! The beach is not as blue and the sand is not as nice as some of the beaches in davao but it’s definitely clean! See photos for reference. P.S.: Although the pond near Anahaw Cove has to be really cleaned.

Wow, what a great development! We visit it some years ago, and it rises up! Great pool with clear water, even with 50 or more guests in the pool! I miss more shadow places at the pool. The sea is also clear (i was surprised, because it is very close to Davao!). No Garbage, nice sand, safe slope down, no surprises. You can rent Huts in normal (good for 8-10 Pax) and Extra Large (good for 20 Pax). The Shower is from the last century, even for the Philippines they are ugly and no fun and uncomfortable, e.g. you don't have a hook or something to place your clothes for undressing. Nice decoration all around!
