We spent 4 days there. Quite sorry we didn't take out more nights. From the moment we arrived they made us feel at home with their smiles and affection. Both my partner and I have been in the hospitality field since ever and we can say that the level of service, professionalism and logistics is superior, even very difficult to get in big chains and very expensive places. Even before we arrived Vanesa took care of the logistics and made sure we were picked up at El Nido and the Teneguiban dock (which is no small thing). When we arrived with the boat we were greeted at the door of the hotel with the biggest and most sincere smile I have ever seen. The place is very, very quiet and you can see community life up close. Every day we saw how lovingly they treated the other people and even their animals, which they greeted every morning. They are a very hard-working family and they cook delicious food! It is worth noting that the price of their dishes makes no sense, they are extremely cheap and, at the time, it is the best Filipino food we have ever tasted (we highly recommend the Tuna Sigrid and the Spring rolls). Another thing to recommend is to take the kayak (quite heavy) and explore the coral out there. Also don't miss the sunrise! (We saw them all and one was better than the other). Definitely the best place we have stayed this year. If there would be a chance of rated 6 stars ones in life we would give em to Playa Encantada. Thank you very much once again, with a heart full of love. Matias and Constanza

If you’re a peaceful soul looking to take a step back from the world and you’re considering booking this place – just do it! Pack the books you’ve always wanted to read and enjoy your stay with Rochelle, Vanessa, and just a handful (!) of other guests. Playa Encantada truly lives up to its name. About an hour’s drive from El Nido and fairly remote, you’ll experience a few peaceful and beautiful days. (Just keep in mind: there are no shops or ATMs nearby, and getting anywhere else requires extra transport.) Not only will you be surrounded by animals (chickens, dogs, cats, goats, and pigs!), but you’ll also get to enjoy the best food we’ve had on our travels – and especially here in the Philippines. For around 600 PHP per person per meal, you’re getting truly fantastic, freshly cooked, high-quality dishes. We’ve never eaten better. They truly understand how to layer flavors and spices – the fish was an absolute dream. Rochelle, Alberto, and Vanessa’s family are genuinely special and kind-hearted people. We were honestly sad we didn’t book more nights, and we already missed the amazing food on our very first day at the next place. We wouldn’t hesitate to return at the next opportunity. I miss my favorite goat Sicho (?), who loved being scratched on the head.

You’re a fool if you pass up this place. I was blown away before we arrived regarding the hospitality. The hospitality is through the roof. Rochelle arranged everything including transportation from El Nido. The food was the best part. Where can you find authentic Italian food in the Philippines? This is a very remote resort only accessible by boat. So you wouldn’t expect real Italian food, this wasn’t some Filipino hotdog spaghetti, this was made with real beef. Oh and the bacon cheese burger made with real beef, where can you find that? If you want adobo you can have that too. Oh also where can you find real fresh ground Italian espresso coffee from the bean in the Philippines? The Italian imported wine was the kicker. The part that makes it ideal is the beach. You get both white sand at your feet and coral reefs just a few yards away. What more do I need to say. No brown outs because they are off grid with solar. I don’t want to forget they have Starlink with over 50-100mb download, where do you find that in the Philippines? Even without aircon it’s worth it because the cool sea breeze at night. We originally booked one night but decided to extend another night for obvious reasons.

My friend and I was looking for a summer get away. We want a relaxing place far from technology world, so we found this resort Playa Encantada. ||Found this amazing resort by accident and I'm so excited that I did! It's soooo peaceful and relaxing the resort is perfect for a secluded getaway with a special someone. ||Foods ---- the foods are GREAT they served it in a nice platting which you can actually enjoy eating... PERFECT!!!||ROOM --- in the first place, we don't like wooden type room, but as days passes by, we appreciate the wooden type room (It was AMAZING!!!) nature friendly. ||Beach --- Clear water, relaxing and Calm.|| Shuttle Service --- they pick us up upon our arrival , the driver is joker, We laugh all through the duration of the travel .. || ||Another great thing that we noticed when we were checking in, is the habitability of the people who worked in the resort(beach) there were so welcoming. ,||While waiting for the sunset we can actually do some activities like , Listening music, reading books & chatting to friends(companions), having a little snack with a glass of wine is just what can keep you calm.||Rooms are super clean and front one, where we were staying, have only a few steps to the beach.|||| breakfast is free came in a nice plate arrangement and had a great served healthy breakfast . We will definitely be back for a longer stay! ||Rochelle and her staffs were also very friendly and accommodating.||||Surely We will be back soon in this Amazing...
