RedDoorz @ Aparente Gensan — Hotel in General Santos

THIS HOTEL IS A BIG NO-NO! Checked in at around 9:30 PM and decided to move to another hotel after a few minutes because we cannot stomach the staff and the accommodation so our stay was less than 20 minutes but the staff still made us pay the whole amount. When we got there, the gate was locked and no person in sight so we had to wait for a few minutes. When she finally appeared, she just unlocked the gate and did not even bother to open it for us. just unlocked the gate and went back to her desk. While she was talking to us, pulling up the booking, asking for 200 pesos deposit etc, she sounded very very rude like it was the most annoying thing for her to do. She gave us the key and pointed us to the room in the corner. The room was totally DISGUSTING! The bed sheet had stains on it, the curtain that covers the glass window would not close properly so anybody from the outside can see us, the electrical outlet looked like it was pulled out from the wall, so there's a hole behind it where roaches crawl. The worst part was there's a glass door just beside the bathroom door that leads to a small cube that looked like an old washing room. It has a faucet and has very dirty tiled floor. What bothered us most is it has an opening above it that leads somewhere. This door cannot be locked from inside our room so if that opening leads to the outside part, anybody can easily get in. please do not stay here as the former recisions explain I can confirm there is a rude staff: our first room was already occupied by monster "okok" cockroach when we arrived at 11:30pm the receptionist said there is no other room available. after 10 min discussion there was the room next to ours suddenly free but light switches broken water was leaking from the hoses of the toilet. in the third room the bed was full of stains which wasn't a problem for the receptionist as this was only from a massage training... if you are looking for action and adventure this is the place to be for all others avoid this place. the reddoorz service is also to mention as not customer friendly. I will never book into one of their places again. we went to another hotel in that night which we already knew and reported the experience of reddoorz to expedia where we booked the hotel which resulted in a full refund on the same day. good luck for us! My "never again" place.

I booked 3 rooms for myself and my friends because we had a review in Gensan. I thought it would be nice and comfortable to stay based on the pictures provided. However, each room had several issues: the TV was not functioning, the cable was not paid for, the faucet was broken, the heater didn't work, and the AC couldn’t cool the room. Even after speaking to the staff, no one was available to fix any of these problems. The shower curtains were very dirty, and the beddings were not clean.

If you're working online, I strongly recommend not checking in here. They intentionally turn off the Wi-Fi and claim the internet is down, but you can clearly see other available networks—only their Wi-Fi is not visible.
