One Serenata — Hotel in General Trias

During my recent stay at One Serenata in General Trias, Cavite, I found the experience to be generally positive. The accommodation was clean and well-maintained, which was a big plus. The staff were particularly commendable; they were kind and attentive, making us feel welcome throughout our stay.

The food served at the hotel was a highlight—delicious and affordably priced, offering great value for money. However, there was a small issue with pricing. The rates changed upon check-in, which caught us off guard and could be confusing for future guests.

One aspect that could use improvement is the comfort of the bed and pillows. Both were less comfortable than expected, impacting the overall quality of sleep.

Despite this, the cleanliness and the friendly service made up for some of the shortcomings. Overall, One Serenata is a decent choice for accommodation in General Trias, especially if you’re looking for good food and pleasant service. At first, I was enticed by the pictures on the web as It looks fancy and tidy. I thought it's a good deal since staying 24 hours they already includes breakfast. But upon arrival, this is not a hotel but rather a motel. I was escorted to a deluxe room worth 1800k+ and to my dismay, the bed is so low, the toilet flush not working and I feel suffocated. I asked for an upgraded room to make myself comfortable. I got the superior room instead, the bathroom smells nasty, it has an odor that if you will left the door open even a bit the smell will spread all over the room, the aircon ifs not even maintaining the cold vibe, the WiFi is slow, the beverages is a bit pricey and the crews are not accomodating.

They over charged me with the beverages, I only order 4 bottles of water but charged me with 5 bottles and ask for another payment upon check out.

Very expensive and the place is not worth your money. The hotel entrance is very informal and untidy that you will feel not welcome. The management is not open to any requests you might have as a traveller. The wifi is too slow and cannot even connect. The beverages and food is too expensive. The place is not near any convenience shops so you have no choice but to buy their very expensive goods. No free water.. You have to buy their bottled water that costs an arm and a leg!
